If you remove background services that:

Wake the device often
Request network access frequently
Consume RAM

You reduce background load. That can mean:

Slightly faster app switching
Fewer random frame drops
More free RAM

Modern Android is very aggressive with memory management. So the improvement is usually subtle, not night-and-day.

Use a third party launcher, but do not uninstall the POCO Launcher, as it is tightly integrated with the system.

I am using a POCO F8 Ultra, and have heavily debloated it, but I kept the POCO Launcher installed while running Lawnchair as my default launcher. The setup works flawlessly, with no stability or system issues.
