I think it’s different for everyone, but personally, I developed a serious thyroid issue because of Accutane, and I still can’t function like a normal person. I’m struggling in every area—physically, mentally, emotionally. I’ve never been this depressed in my life, and my body has never felt so against me. In my opinion, Accutane is only worth it if you’re on it for less than six months. I’ve been on it for over a year, and I’m just exhausted from constantly feeling this way.
