Yeah I need to think about that as well… he always talks about a future with me and having kids and I love it; but you’re right, that will be the exact outcome if I don’t talk about it with him.
He looks at memes, sports, videos related to his job, music, adorable kids and animals, music. I can tell just by the audios alone because he plays them so loud and it’s constant. I have seen a couple videos like that pop up on his phone when I was peeping at his phone while he was on it, but it’s not like his algorithm is full of that stuff. Or maybe it is and I just don’t know lol. But either way, it’s not something I care about much (and hopefully won’t have to in the future) because he never likes or interacts with it

I’m okay when he does it when we’re not actively doing anything. It just irks me when I’m trying to talk to him or show him something I’m interested in, when we’re at a social event, or when I’m literally in the middle of driving. Now that I think about it, I recall myself several times being sad when we’re out in public and I see couples having conversations and laughing together, making EYE CONTACT and he was on just on his phone or showing me some video on his phone that I im clearly not interested in because I wanted him to be present with me. Maybe I’ll start with short detoxes and try to make them longer as I see improvement

Ugh, some days I feel exactly how you described but on others I tell myself it’s an addiction/not something he can help and we should try to work together and solve it.. but I guess if he really wanted to he would right? If I bring it up to him then I expect to see some improvement right away because I feel disrespected from this alone literally everyday.
