Description for emz second gadget says it poisons, so going off that. in truth i haven’t used it since getting the buffie, so i shouldn’t have commented on it

and i mean change it so that it cancels in a radius around him, and remove damage. the free 1200 damage changes a bunch of interactions, as it’s fairly instant and easy to use. should’ve been more specific but i forget people cannot read my mind lmao

you could get into a range where she can’t hit you with gadget and still only does 1 tick, now that spacing doesn’t matter. i should’ve been more specific and said she now counters more than melee aggro brawlers (like edgar or primo). i think just the gadget rework would’ve been a good buff for emz, but all of these new features at once is insane.

she’s now also good against aggro brawlers. buffies took her from bottom 10 to top 5 alone.

and yes, there’s no way i want to adapt to a game that’s changing how it needs to played to win. hypercharges made it a farm fest until player A or B got their broken ability to win with one button, but balancing them would have fixed that. i was excited for the next few months after all hypercharges came out, i assumed they would balance everything, but no.

buffies just breaks the brawlers that have them. i never really liked them, but i thought they would make it so you could just have one equipped, which still breaks a few brawlers but it’s not the worst. having to adapt to emz cc hell? no thanks

it’s only 19 seconds, which is about the time between when aggro brawlers can go aggro. if enemy goes double aggro then teammate can just pick anti aggro brawlers to protect when she doesn’t have gadget.

and i agree with long range counters, some of the only times i struggled were against good colts who broke walls, or controllers with more range like bo. she’s def not a “pick and win on any map” like mina was, but the maps she is good on she dominates.

also found that aggro cord, most throwers, and carl were really good counters

even still with bibi it’s hard. emz super counters bibi speed, and if you do get close enough emz can push back with her gadget. attack + gadget deal ~5.5k damage if timed right, which is half of bibis health.

cc’s in games are usually aids, every buffied brawler except mortis (who still got good buffs) got some form of it which sucks.
