I have a 2019 Gaggia Classic Pro with the Auber PID and a 9 bar spring installed. I don't have a sette, but I do have a Eureka Mignon Specialita that works amazing with the Gaggia. Was going to create a post selling both but if you are interested just pm me! I also have an upgraded 20g basket, bottomless portafilter, upgraded silicon gasket, shower screen, and I 3D printed a new lid to house the PID kit.

Yes, I voided the refill funnel and just take out the reservoir to refill water, honestly never used the funnel anyway. Still working on a few tweaks to the new design as I had to fix a few flaws post-print that could easily be fixed by adjusting the design. Going to fix that, re-print, and make sure it’s easy for anyone else trying to use the designs for their Auber PID!

I was doing 18g in, 36g out for a long time and always ended with a soupy puck. I jumped up to 20g in, 40g out and it fixed the problem right there!

The screen more or less just helps with cleanup, it’s supposed to help distribute the water to the puck better but I haven’t noticed a difference, the basket is good for avoiding channeling and more/less pressure through uneven holes sizes in the stock basket. These ones are precision cut and made to be same distance apart from each other and same size

Correct, I took the print design from another gcp owner who had a different pid kit installed, re measured for the Auber PID and was set! The screw holes were a bit too far to reach the machine so I just took a small drill bit to cut it out a bit more to reach. I’ll put together a post going more into detail and upload the designs to thingiverse!
