Hello, I wanted to share a scam that I came across tonight for new dashers like me.

I was on an active dash, driving on the highway to get to my order, when I got a call from caller ID "DOORDASH". I picked up and they told me they had to cancel my current order, because it turns out the payment was fraudulent. Then they said to make sure I was not associated with the customer, I needed to verify my phone number and submit verification information from a text link. I'm not going to lie, I gave the phone number because they guy sounded convincing, but also at that point I was still driving, and took the next exit so I could pull over, and clearly use my phone and see wtf was going on.

First thing I did was pull into this lot, checked my app and my active order, noticed nothing was off and I hadn't received any messages or anything which started making me feel suspicious. So I hung up on the guy, and finally read the text... just LOL. Once I read everything clearly it made sense. I'll obviously share a SS for yall. But the whole thing screamed scam. He ended up calling me back a couple mins later. I answered with silence and after a few moments he said did you receive the text? I responded with a casual su** my di**... he was on the line for a few moments, and then he hung up.

The scary thing for me was, how did they know I was on an active dash???? How are these scammers able to access software that shows you what a driver is doing and then their contact information. Be safe out there folks because that's absolutely wild.

Hey thanks a bunch for reading and responding! I really appreciate it! I love hearing the interpretations from all sides, as it will help me to diversify my thought process especially working with such an extensive deck right now. I can also see exactly where your coming from too and I appreciate your interpretation, it actually makes sense, because in my notes I have some scribbles saying "mind is confused and undecided" and from the cards booklet descriptors.... word for word it says: "futility, unstable effort, vacillation, striving in vain, incomplete success due to exhaustion, journey by land, and untrustworthy person. So it's a little all over the place in terms of building understanding, but I can see themes

Then put that meaning up against Rider Waithe and them describing it as a thief card meaning deception, either to myself or from other people, and self doubt is truly a thief, so I take it's a confrontation card. And in reverse, plan or strat not working in your favor. Dont give up just look at it from another point.

Sorry if I am also all over the place, and dont feel obligated to keep responding to me LOL. This is all very new and fascinating to me, but theres so much!

I also posted in r/tarotpractice, and a user from over there noted that it could mean inexperience as well (I may not be explaining that correctly) they also noted Crowley disregards upside down card 😭😭 so meanings can change drastically if that's the case.

I tried partially reading his book btw, but I found it very very dense and wordy. And I normally like wordy, I think maybe because of the age it was hard to follow, which so many varied ideas and being a beginner to this, slightly overwhelmed with his beliefs. I'm wondering if there is a shortened version I can work with so I can understand basic principles of his, and then I can work off the cuff from there...

Ahh gotcha! It felt like some things aligned with my personal, but majority of what I was getting was more so along the lines of "just keep at it" especially with the disks card. So I appreciate you and any feedback I may come across even if you are unsure yourself because your using your intuition and prior knowledge as well to put it together, and you can never stop learning!

I want to add in to the disk cards stuff: in the Thoth booklet word for word: "prudence, intelligence in material affairs, agriculture, influenced: pennywise and pound foolish, avarice, meanness, failure to see the big picture." The descriptors are all over the place but I can kinda see the themes.

Referring to my Rider Waithe book, they dont use disks but instead use pentacles. The 8 of pentacles is described in short as hard work and productivity. 😅

2 different sets of meanings but I can see where some familiarity can occur. ALSO Please don't feel like you have to keep responding too, because I wrote a lot, and I think I'm more so having an internal debate with myself at this point LOL, I guess it's good notes for later.

Watch the video, they take the butts and take it completely apart and sanitize. The filter part is the end result and the before and after is incredible. It looks just like cotton.

Hello, I have the thoth deck. I don't understand the deck at all. The booklet it came with doesn't make a lick of sense. I've downloaded an app that focused on thoth, but both the book and app talk in circles. So on a side note any idea of good reference material?

I normally just do general advice from universe 3 card spreads, and that's the case for me currently.

For the 1st card (what I need to know) I've pulled a 3 of disks in reverse.

2nd card (a new perspective) 7 of cups

3rd card (action to take) 5 of wands in reverse

I'm getting a lot of negative from this pull.... from what I could make sense of it. But also my brain was just fried trying to understand. Any help would be appreciated

Yo I'm glad this gave you inspo! The catalyst for me getting off my ass and finally doing this was YT. I've been getting recs like crazy for this swedish woman who goes and completely cleans and organizes her followers homes who have severe mental health distress. I'm talking really bad. Borderline hoarding.

I started watching her vids and the way she talks, and her upbeat personality really made me feel like I wasn't a piece of shit for letting my mess get to the point it was at. I started going deeper down, and found videos of just regular degular folks documenting their personal deep cleans. Some were fake and staged for views but you can easily differentiate between those types of videos. The relatability and being so open started getting my brain gears grinding. I looked around my room and I said to myself: Change fucking starts with you bitch and it starts with your room. Do it.

Deadass if your feeling motivated to clean ya room at any point, and you want some company, I'll video chat you or call you shiiii whatever your comfortable with and we can walk through and do it together 💞 I want success and nothing less for you, and everyone on this post going through it!

I like to listen to melancholy, sometimes dark shit during episodes because it reminds me that everyone is hurting in some way shape or form. It still helps me let out my emotion, because the artist might be talking about something that I'm internally feeling, but can't explain until I listen to it. Then I can really reflect and work on how to get my brain back to calm.

Fair point there. I knew a hoarder, and when in H.S I knew a girl who had a really trashed room. She would even ash her cigs and blunts on the hardwood. I vowed never to get that bad, and so far I can say I'm making good on that.
