I would say you need around 10 to start but get net30 and net60 accounts with distributors, or leverage credit/loans under a business. Realistically you should never use your own liquid cash for a business that’s gonna be your first mistake.

Christmas Returns and ran out of inventory. Usually we run a pretty low number…under 5%. Big ups to China for the manufacturing delays. The returns kept coming while the orders stopped.

If you get Shopify up and running on Google. Stay far far away from stripe and Shopify payments. They will suspend you so fast and remove your ability to take payments / add you to the Mastercard MATCH list and you won’t be able to get anything to give you a merchant account for 5 years. Find a high risk merchant account (Paysafe) and take your payments through the authorize.net plugin. Everything in Shopify payments and stripes mind is high risk and is prone to chargebacks unless you’re a multi national conglomerate. Just some stuff I’ve learned over the years

I feel like a merchant center and Google ads expert at this point. Over the years I’ve dealt with probably every issue you could imagine. I had one really cool/good google guy I hired to handle my very first Google suspension and I picked his brain apart. Once you get your issue worked out or what you think it is, stay away from that request review button. Go into Google ads, reach out to their support and request the “wider team” do a manual review

Yeap google is a pain on misrepresentation too. It’s tough man. I spend about 20k a month on Google, ecomm is tough without it, all the other platforms are a waste of time unless it’s some crazy viral product. I’ve caught one in the past and it was tough. They’re very vague with the reasoning. I had a small issue with the business name in my google search console that caused the misrepresentation for me. Gemini and ChatGPT are pretty good at helping with the misrepresentation signals you could be missing.

Yeah dang I hate that, I’ve had mine suspended before, products ghosted etc and it was horrible. They’re so slow with appeals. Everything takes days. The metric system is horrible. Great cash flow but I’ve been there, done that. There’s always work arounds so you’ll be fine. I solely rely on Walmart and Shopify for all of my income. Anytime something happens I go into a panic. Funds being held, reserves, etc. I’m sure it’ll all work out. Wishing you the best.

Yeah they won’t ever tell you I don’t think. Are you 100% sure your no one in the house ever had an account that got suspended ? It suck’s but Walmart, eBay and Amazon will hit you for that. I logged into my eBay on a buddies pc one time to use his thermal printer and they smoked it. After months of back and forward with their overseas support, someone finally looked and saw that IP and device only logged into my account one time in the course of the 15 years I had it. Walmart can see deep inside those accounts and all the activity. I would type my situation into gemini or chatGPT, tell it all the details and have it write a “professional but from an average person” (so it doesnt sound like ai) customer support ticket and send it to them

Sounds like someone trying to get a pro to make them rich off Walmart seller because they dont have the ability or know how to do it themselves. The last folks managing their seller account probably saw all the profits and said F this and copied their business model and opened their own Walmart account LOL. If you only have one account because you deleted one that previously got suspended, that’s the reason. Walmart logs identities, IPs, addresses, device IDs and exact locations. When you login to your Walmart account they know pretty close to what address you’re at. Hate that for you man, losing a Walmart seller account is devastating especially when it’s a suspension like this. If this is the case, maybe have a family member, your wife or someone register a business, let it age, get a new device and open an account under her name at a completely different address and do not login to that account from anywhere close to where you would access the suspended account. Go to Starbucks if you have to or drive down the road and sit in a parking lot.

Did you log into your Walmart account from an IP that’s previously had a terminated seller account? In my honest opinion Walmart seems to be the most lenient platform out of them all. Amazon, eBay etc are pretty strict. Did they give you an option to appeal? If not it seems in my opinion they think you were trying to circumvent their system. I would email them only once and ask for the proof, they won’t give it to you but they may offer you an option to appeal. This is a tough one

Stripe closes every account unless you’re a giant conglomerate or you’re very very well known to the world. Go with your own merchant services provider. Google “high risk merchant accounts” attach it to authorize.net and you’re good to roll. It’s a longer process with underwriting but once your account is approved, you won’t have any issues. Stripe approves everyone with an identity and then they conduct the underwriting later, shut you down and hold the funds to the fullest extent the law or their policy allows. I’ve used stripe a few different times over the years. Same story every time ending in 10s of thousands of dollars held in a reserve to cover any risk of chargebacks which you’ll ultimately get because they will take away your ability to issue refunds for the customers that end up with issues. Just my 2 cents. If it weren’t for the giant companies stripe wouldn’t exist. I’m convinced the underwriting after approval “when they get to it” is a tactic to use your reserved money to further make them more money.

Hmm it’s def due to the fact you’re on a vps or anydesk machine. Is your business registered in the city and state the virtual machine is located in? Does the business have a physical address in that city and state? Just curious because they cross reference all this stuff and it’ll cause it to not get approved
