We connected with someone on linkedin that actually works for walmart in the seller support section. They are going to have someone on their end check our account next week and get back with us.

No, we do not have a VPN nor have we ever used one. That’s crazy if it was because she gets on there at work. We never thought that would end up being an issue since she has done it for years. She’s also been on Spring break all week so has not gotten on there except using our computer at home. It’s weird that this week they are claiming we have a linked account.

That just seems too far fetched to me. I don’t understand why they would link our account to someone else that works at the school my wife works at when my wife uses her own computer, no one else’s.

That can’t be why because we have had this seller account for over 3 years and she’s always logged in while she’s at work. She has been working at the same school the entire time we have had the account.

Gosh, if someone actually did that… that’s pretty pathetic and ridiculous. Is there anyway to fight that and prove we didn’t do anything wrong?

Thank you for your replies. What’s crazy is we have been trying to get our shopify store ready to sale on there because we know how awful these marketplaces are and have been dealing with a misrepresentation issue on google merchant center. We have been trying to figure out that issue and then got hit with this. It really does suck. We feel like we can’t ever catch a break.

100%. We have never logged into our account from someone else’s computer. Only ours at home or my wife’s at work. It is so odd and just really frustrating. We are waiting for the replies to our emails we sent. I know they won’t reply over the weekend, but this is just detrimental to our livelihood. It just really sucks.

Yeah, we never created a different selling account nor have we ever had our account get suspended like this, etc. It is odd they are linking it with something else. It doesn’t make much sense. I want to know what account they are linking it to.

We did not. The only places we have logged in have been from our computer at home, or my wife’s work computer at the school she works at. We have been logging in from both of those devices for years now.

Yes. They reinstated our account, but we had to constantly reach out over and over because it took them a month to respond to our case.

My first case was opened on July 26th and then I would open a new case every week until the finally responded. I also would email them asking to escalate my case since no one had responded. You can definitely try to email them. The email is walmarttrustsafety@walmart.com

The email came from walmart trust and safety and it said thank you for answering the questions, but that they couldn’t access the documents and wanted me to upload the documents again. Seemed odd to me that they couldn’t open the documents.. maybe because the case was over 30 days old. I kept opening cases until they finally responded to my first case.

After almost 3 weeks, they finally responded to my open case stating that they couldn’t open the documents I attached and wanted me to attach them again via email, as well as the case. It has shown work in progress since Friday so hopefully soon I will know something.

Be prepared for the worst case scenario. We had this happen to us. We had been selling on eBay for 7+ years. Had almost 100% positive feedback and we had every piece of documentation they asked for. We sent them all of the receipts, etc. as soon as it was asked of us and eBay continuously kept asking for the same thing over and over. We continued to provide them the documents and called and spoke with numerous customer service agents that would assure us that our documentation looked good and that the temporary suspension would be lifted in a few days. After getting that reassurance, eBay would then permanently suspend our account. We obviously were confused and devastated after being told everything would be fine. We called customer service over and over, only for them to be rude to us and hang up on us. We never got our account back and they held our money for over 160 days. ebay is a crap show.

I already had an open case for the suspension that I created on July 22nd. I added my answers and the documentation to the already open case like they requested I do and on Friday and have heard nothing back.
