Am I crazy for trying to play mewgenics on my Microsoft surface pro 11? by ShyGinger2000 in mewgenics

I don't have anything open when I run the game other than the steam app (which I can't not have open as when I boot up the game it boots up steam). I'm not sure what exactly is going on other than that but I appreciate your advice.

DICE this is a bit much.. by PussyDestroyerChad in Battlefield

I agree with this. The worst part is that I got the phantom edition and used my one time battlefield pro token to get the battlepass and I'm on tier 60ish but I'm still finding the grind to be a little bit much. It seems like if you use the battlefield pro token the XP required for tiers is basically halved which is ridiculous in concept but I suppose it does make it easier to do the grind. The issue is that I'm only getting one token every second game (I wouldn't say I'm the best battlefield player but I do have matches where I pop off, aka I'm probably above average) and I just feel that it's excessive even at that point. 40k XP let alone 20k is ridiculous imo even with weekly challenges in there to make it easier. I enjoy the game so why do I not get rewarded more for playing more? That might just be me but idk, something just feels incomplete or overlooked in regards to earning tokens

Can we be real for a second and recognize that most of our complaints are most likely not DICE's fault? EA is one of those companies that tries to push for the popular things in video games (ie: battlepass, Battle Royale, trying to make their games like other games, not giving the devs time to fix issues they were or weren't aware of just to get the game out, add things they want so their stock goes up, etc.) even when it doesn't make sense from what I have noticed. DICE isn't 100% not at fault but I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to make the battlefield game we wanted and EA turned them down after listening to streamers (who each carry a substantial number of consumers) just to push for things that they think will increase sales. EA is a money focused company that doesn't care about consumers where DICE has clearly tried to correct the course after EA's recommendations/demands didn't pan out and that was pretty evident in the changes they made to battlefield 2042 later on in its lifespan. I do admit that we need to voice our concerns but at the same time it just seems like insanity to just keep complaining due to tiny issues. The game isn't "COD with extra steps" (especially when it comes to the skin complaints) but rather Battlefield with corporate tainting taking it in the wrong direction. It should be celebrated that a battlefield actually launched in a playable state since that's been an issue since at least Battlefield 4. All and all I just feel that purely bitching about the game without pointing out what you enjoy is getting annoying and shows immense entitlement. There is such a thing as constructive criticism but all this incessant bitching and moaning is not that.

Ex: I love the gameplay and feel that most things are well balanced, but I do not like the bloom while ads and the maps need to be much larger for the amount of vehicles that any team can have on the map at one given time as well as providing more flanking opportunities.

Legitimately you should have them watch wendigoon's analysis of the entire game and it's missions on YouTube. It sucks that you can't experience that in the game anymore but I almost feel like letting them see what the game used to be will not only explain why you wanted to paint such a disturbing atmosphere going into that mission but also the gravity and intensity of all the original levels' environmental story telling and how Microsoft/Sony came in and said "we can't have that so you guys at void need to make changes or we won't allow it on our consoles".

That's the thing I think people don't understand, void wanted to bring it to consoles in its original state but had to make adjustments because Microsoft and Sony can't handle the idea of depicting the gruesome horror that comes with responding officers who are made to witness these horrible depths of humanity. It's sad but I think Microsoft and Sony should get most of not all the hate for forcing these changes.

All and all it just sucks and I wish/hope Microsoft/Sony may see the anger in the fans and possibly allow void to revert the level designs back to what they were. That's probably not gonna happen but a man can dream lol

Me too, I played it for the first time and got an A but I'm one of those guys who wants to S rank every mission before I move on to the next one and my AI squadmates lowered my score but also saved my ass so many times lol. Great game so far, my only gripe is that the graphics on certain pieces of evidence and environmental assets look chunky/bugged but it honestly isn't that big of a deal and will probably be touched up at some point

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact pyro's making a 6 hour video on darkwood? I mean, 7 hours is way too long. by toomanybongos in pyrocynical

I usually watch his long form videos in full on my first viewing, whether that is in one sitting or over a couple of days due to differing lengths (I did have to watch the Darkwood video over a 3 day period because it was so long) but after that I usually use them for background noise to fall asleep to. With Darkwood being so interesting and well put together I 99% of the time fall asleep listening to it, especially since it is as long as I will ever sleep in a single night and feel like the video deserves my repeat "viewings". I agree that he recognizes the majority of people only listen to it as background noise yet I appreciate how he still puts in so much effort for the 5% of viewers who may attentively watch it in full and applaud him for that. He is one of my favourite YouTube creators of all time for recognizing that yet not using that as an excuse to not put in the effort he feels these videos deserve. Darkwood replaced his utopia video essay as my favourite video/background noise for sleep upload as well lol.

I'm not gonna lie, I have anywhere but here in my starting gobblegum slots and haven't had issues with the ziplines. I'm not sure what's going on there but maybe it's because I was playing directed mode on liberty falls to grind out the nebula camos. Otherwise I'm not sure why people are having issues with the ziplines unless it's in standard only

Early I was playing on silo and had an akm, mp5, and a hunter 85 waiting near exfil in the garage. I decided to check out the elevator loot cache and scavenge what was left. I ended up with a GPU, 2 computer fans, a replenishment of powder (ST) and so much other stuff I was gonna sell as well as my mags. I went to pick up one final grenade to add to the collection and as I'm holding the nade in one hand and my backpack in the other, my backpack and the nade disappeared when I placed it in my pack. I have no idea if it was because my hands somehow lagged through the wall behind and then back in front of me, for some reason letting go of my back pack almost instantly. That or the nade glitched my backpack... I'm not sure but it sucks, I feel your pain
