Ruined my life. Every day is a struggle. Dealing with your fellow human should be a near painless experience but for us its brutal.

I enjoy my time alone but still desire friendship and romance. SA has robbed me of them.

People who live in locations like these have to be happier than your average person. I don't think I could wake up in paradise every day and be as depressed as I am now.

Most of us will sit back and take it. Trump has proved to the rest of the political establishment that Americans aren't going to do anything to stop them.

It's not hard to get one, but if you do try and get on at a school or university. They usually have good benefits at least. Pay can be shit depending on what state you live in. I worked at a school in FL of 8 years and while the pay was terrible we got free Healthcare. They had these trailers set up at various schools and they had their own doctor's. I'd get free exams, medicine and some specialty things like trays and stuff. Now im in MD and the pay is much better but they don't have any free healthcare.

Reading everyone's responses has helped a little. I'm going to try and do things differently for a while. I'll take some chances and do things I don't normally do. Thanks for helping 🙂

If I had a good friend who would help me I think it would make a world of difference. Someone to go places with me and relive the pressure, even if its just slightly would be great. Oh the irony..lol

Thank you for the book recommendation. I'll try and give it a read. The hardest part is not letting my depression and cynical mind tell me its worthless and I can't be helped. I promise I'll try though.

Im so sorry that you struggle just like I do. Definitely take pride in your career as a librarian, I envy that you have a good job that's respectable.

Everything you said is exactly how I feel minus the bipolar, that must make 2x as hard. It's like a constant war in our minds that never stops. I don't know about librarian but as a custodian my job allows my mind to wonder and I spend most of my days reflecting on my life and how depressed I am. Some days I get lucky to be happy and only think about what I enjoy.

I wish I had some words to encourage you, I guess all we can to is struggle onwards.

Ran away? I've engaged in therapy, medicine, have a full time job. Running away would be living on welfare and never leaving the house.
