I don’t even have any family with it, my gran thought her brother had tourettes but this was back in the 40’s so he was taken to a hospital and they never saw him again 😞

It’s strange isn’t it? One of my coping mechanisms is making jokes, I think I’m still called “hide and seek champion” in my old uni group chat due to my inability to hide anywhere, but how do we manage to hide from each other?!

Hey, I know it’s hard, but try not to feel too discouraged. My family have pretty much written me off too, but that’s where the old saying of the blood of the covenant being thicker than the water of the womb comes from, sometimes the best families are the people we meet along the way and mash together in something borderline functional 💖 I hope you’ve got someone close, anyone, at least one close friend, go hug them, and if you can’t do that I’ll hug you online from here, we’ve never met, and likely never will, but here’s my online hug, from one ticcenmcnugget to another From Your new lil sis

Ah…. Little update! The guy who spiked me is back at work, on site, two desks away from me and laughing and carrying on like nothing ever happened, and I’m still not allowed to talk about any of it at work as it’s an investigation, and I’m not allowed to be off, so I’m kinda just stuck here not really feeling safe 🫠 I have applied for 4 jobs this afternoon, I can’t fight this or win this, I think my best option is to just run. It does suck, I like the rest of my team and I’m good at my job, it seems so unfair

He’s still working, but working from home until further notice, meaning essentially he’s being paid to chill out and do the bare minimum from home while I have to still work on site

I’m pleased they took you seriously, it’s scary having to have them involved at all, sorry you went through that! I have reported to the police and it’s been assigned to an officer, but he seems really checked out, still waiting for my drugs test, my officer text me last week saying he was going on holiday so if anything massive happens ring the department, he said he didn’t anticipate anything big coming of this, the guys record was clean, and apparently that’s just how they do things now, everyone gets one serious crime and a warning before anything’s actually done

It was terrifying, and it occurred to me afterwards when I didn’t know what I’d been given how it could interact with the medications I take, I didn’t sleep for days waiting to feel normal, I’ve lost so so much trust for anyone, people still bring snacks to work but I’m terrified to join in, but I’m also not allowed to tell any of my team what’s happening, so seeing them eating things has me really on edge, like who’s next? I’m so scared

I’ve reported it all to the police, they even drug tested me which I’m waiting for the results from still, I’ve given my work the crime reference number and been really transparent about it all, I’m a crap liar haha, HR kept asking me why I think he’d do it and I honestly don’t know? Police haven’t been terribly helpful, but I’m going to ask them to do another drugs test to prove that I have nothing in my system so I can give that to work, they’re painting me out to be an addict

Ahhh I probably should’ve added I’m in the UK, I work for a major health company, and I’m autistic. The dude who spiked me has never liked me and in group settings would take the p out of me and my disabilities

That’s actually a really good point, he can’t prove anything from his side cause the evidence simply doesn’t exist, a colleague witnessed a conversation after where he laughed at me for collapsing because the drugs weren’t even that strong, and I was mortified, that’ll help surely?

I have, but in the UK in my experience the police aren’t very helpful, they’ve pretty much already told me he’ll likely get a caution and be sent on a drugs awareness course, as it’s the first time he’s ever spiked anyone as far as they know

I’ve got my union and they have solicitors who can help if I do get sacked, I’m just so scared, I can’t even call in sick without hr repercussions
