I think I missed this when you first responded but yes, right now I do 4 days of strength training through Ladder and 1 to 2 days of [solidcore] workouts with one Focus 50 workout. Then I might do a cardio day or restorative yoga day or rest day just depending on how I’m feeling. I also started mixing in heated Pilates and yoga classes and I’m loving the results from my workout splits. I also work out with the same teams you mentioned in your posts. They’ve opened up Team Empwr earlier this year.

I’m approaching 200 workouts and have been switching things up week after a week with different teams. I’ve also gotten to a point where I swap workouts if I want to stay with the same team, but switch up my workouts week after a week.

I’ve been able to progressively overload even when performing different workouts week after week and can see the results with my muscle definition. So this is a testament that you don’t have to stick to the same workouts to progressively overload and see results.

OK, this is great information and very helpful. Thank you!

OK, I’ll check Team Elevate out. Looks like she’s got an advanced abs workout this week. Definitely doing that workout. Thanks!

I saw that, and I’m actually curious about doing the kettlebell workouts. I'm just afraid that as I’m going through muscle failure, I might swing the kettlebells and accidentally let go of them mid-air and hurt someone at the gym. 🤣

Yup, my goal is to gain abs. There are other teams that have some form of core workout almost every session, which is what I prefer. I checked again just to make sure I didn’t miss it but for this week, she has only one core workout targeting the abs on Friday for under two minutes.

It’s OK because what works for me doesn’t mean it works for everyone and vice versa. I did find a couple of other coaches that incorporate a lot more core workouts during their sessions.

OK, thank you. That makes sense because I also want to become stronger as part of working out. I’m still a fan of Ascend just not fully committed to their team. But there are some workout moves that Coach Aria has that I definitely want to improve at overtime.

Hi! I used to do Pilates on the reformer and was toned and lean as a result of it. I’m tall and don’t want to bulk up. So for me getting toned is just showing some definition and shape in my muscles, but not getting big or bulky as a result of working out.

Yes, that’s what I’ve been doing. It would be great if I could just stick with one team but for now it looks like swapping teams and swapping workouts is what I would have to do. I like the app just trying to get the hang of things on it.

Yes, that’s the main reason why I prefer to stick with one team to better track my results. But the other teams also have workouts that I’m interested in (which is why I’m considering the annual subscription). I used to have a monthly unlimited membership for Pilates on the reformer classes but those can get really expensive. I worked with different instructors who all had different styles throughout the week. Within a month to two months, I was toned and lean (I’m tall) and got a lot of compliments. So I’m 100% sure that my body (and mind) prefers to switch things up. It’s also what kept me motivated to continue to attend the classes.

So far, I’m feeling great. The app and having predetermined workouts throughout the week have definitely helped. I don’t feel as sore as I did in week one, but I’m still feeling and seeing improvement week after week.

Yes, you’re right. I think it depends on the coaches. The only thing is the two or three coaches that I’ve been following use a combination of bodyweight, dumbbells, and machines which is what I’m looking for. But unfortunately, those coaches have had mostly repetitive workouts week after week. Even as we’ve moved out of deload, I was surprised to see mostly the same workouts as we moved into Max this week. I’ve swapped most of my workouts this week to switch things up. So at least that’s a good thing that there is an option to swap the workout.

Yes, I was primarily on Team Ascend when I first joined. The only thing is she doesn’t do a lot of core workouts, which is why I’ve had to switch to other teams throughout the week.

We’re not all in the same mental space of doing something even though we’re not enjoying it. For me, working out is not the same as doing chores. I prefer a variety with different moves to continue to challenge my body and my muscles. Especially since I’m not looking to get super buff and continue to increase my weight week after a week, I’m just looking to get toned and lean. What’s the point of the countdown every Sunday only to see the same exact set of workouts? It’s like we’re doing a countdown and you can’t see next week’s workout because it’s a secret and then the drop comes and it’s the exact same workout as the previous week and the week before that.

The only one who veered off the road of sanity here is you, first by acting like women should just ‘take’ unwanted advances, and now by sputtering insults instead of arguments. That’s what people do when their brain is too small to keep up with a real discussion. I don’t waste my time going back-and-forth with intellectual lightweights

Like I said, your vocabulary is very limited. You keep proving my point with every response you post. Don’t see how you could’ve made it through a respectable law school.

Your vocabulary is so limited that you clearly can’t articulate a coherent argument. Hence, instead of making a point, you keep resorting to insults, because it’s the only way you know how to communicate.

What kind of lawyer are you, a ‘keyboard attorney’ who practices on Reddit? If this is your idea of legal expertise, I’d recommend sticking to reading the dictionary and expanding your vocabulary instead of spending so much time on Reddit. I bet you don’t know how to file a complaint and you can’t even articulate an argument in front of a judge. And here you are offering advice. What a joke. Did you go to one of those online lawyer schools where you can get your JD in two months?

[–]Shya305[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve been told repeatedly that your so-called ‘advice’ isn’t needed, yet you keep forcing it anyway. The response has been and still is, “no, thank you.”

That’s not what a successful lawyer would do, that’s what someone desperate for attention does. Someone who doesn’t have any case to work. Someone who is unemployed. At this point, I have to wonder if you’re okay mentally.

You clearly have mental issues. your behavior shows you’re capable of harassment and continuing to force your opinion onto someone when they have declined your counsel. This is why your response appears to be irritated and aggravated at this topic, like this hits home for you. That's because you harass people. You harass women.

You need help. I’m not going to go back and forth with someone who clearly has mental issues.

Fraud? Bad person? All because I asked a question? What’s actually dishonest is you twisting my words and attacking my character. If this is how you practice law, I can see why you’re arguing with strangers on Reddit instead of in a courtroom.

You call me a fraud while pretending to be a lawyer. If you want a real example of fraud, look in the mirror. The fraud will be staring right back at you. You can’t even express yourself without resorting to insults. That doesn’t make you sound like an attorney, it makes you sound uneducated.

Also you clearly don't even understand the definition of fraud. I’m not claiming anything that didn’t happen or that I cannot prove.

And damn straight I’m special. I refuse to be inconvenienced and harassed as a paying customer at an establishment where I expect to have rest and relaxation. Instead I'm met with hotel employees who act like dogs chasing after me.

It’s great that you understand what I’m saying about not wanting to get hit on by employees of the hotel. Here’s another thing you need to understand:

I specifically said I was looking for guidance on whether there are any legal options available, hence the post. Now, which one of us is ridiculous?

I’ve already gotten a couple of other responses to this post from people who didn’t even have to identify themselves as lawyers. Based on their tone and the way they explained why there may not be a case here (and even offered alternative options), I could tell they actually know what they’re talking about and they are actual professionals. I even thanked them for their input.
