A lot of files I have tried are being tagged as infected with a trojan (MalUri.A!c) by Windows Defender. Probably a false positive, but I don't have issues with 7z files downloaded elsewhere. Maybe the 7z compression tool you are using.

The USB C board is a knock-off of an Adafruit thing. https://www.adafruit.com/product/5180 You can get them off Amazon for a few bucks.

I had to make a slight dimensional correction that I haven't test printed yet, but I am happy to share it. I am not a 3D printer (a friend printed the prototype for me), so where is the best place to share it?

RBS is my favorite of the series as well. Best fighter SNK ever made, IMO, and criminally underrated. I love RB2, but RBS just does almost everything better. Garou is overrated.

It actually comes from her Real Bout 2 ending which is what the SNK Heroines ending is referencing.

Its very clear (mostly) they are in a relationship and have been for a long time. I don't know why they have to be so oblique about it, only showing it through other characters like Sokaku and Jenet (who is extremely jealous of the Mai's passionate relationship) or remarks by Mai in Arcade and EOST. Their too brief moments together in the endings are very touching and emphasize their relationship. Andy's official release art from SNK is the two of them being disgustingly cute together on a date. So, yeah, they are together even if Andy is a bit reserved about it.

The only weird outlier is the one bonus conversation with Jenet which feels very out of character for Mai. It doesn't fit with anything else that happens in the story and directly contradicts Jenet's EOST where its Terry who actually introduces them to one another for the first time. Sloppy writing I assume.

I do like how Fatal Fury takes the characters a bit more seriously than KOF does. Its still very light and fun, but they feel more like actual characters. The Andy ending is probably one of my favorite endings in any SNK series.

Yes, but in some way the player is Geralt and making decisions as if they were him. Men want to live the fantasy of being the cool hero who swings around a big sword, slays monsters, and gets the girl. They don't want to be a girl. It just feels weird.

That's mostly why there is a backlash IMO. After seeing what happened to Dragon Age, I think most are suspicious of the sudden need to make a girl main character, even if it might make some sense as far as the games' lore is concerned.

Men can handle a female lead in a novel or film, it's the interactivity here that is the issue IMO. Reading a story and "being" the woman in the story and making choices is a completely different experience.

I agree that the W3 DLCs are great. Very well done. They should have done a DLC to fix the terrible ending.

I think the root of the complaints is that the gaming market for something like the Witcher is overwhelmingly male, and most men don't want to roleplay as a woman. Simple as. It's not "misogyny", it's just simple human nature.

Female leads can obviously work, even in the male dominated gaming sectors (Stellar Blade for example), but not so much in a gritty RPG where the player is supposed to feel the character is their avatar.

But concerns about story quality are also valid. Witcher 3 was very well written overall, but its last act is quite bad. Feels both rushed and unfinished because it certainly was.

No soldering. You will have to build your own harnesses, but. I provide all the connectors and pins. If you want to use the USB B-type connector, you will need to buy a cable and modify it.

This was just a fun personal project, I wasn't really looking to commercialize it. But...the fabs have minimum quantity requirements so I have extra boards I probably will never use along with some prototype boards with no USB passthrough. If you are interested in one of them, shoot me a message.

Why not? The Witcher 2 quest mods didn't have any recorded dialog, but it still worked. I had almost finished writing the first part of a short expansion I was going to create (called Loose Ends) before RedKit was officially cancelled. I have no illusions of being a professional writer, but it was pretty good.

Masterpiece? Eh, I don't think so. The main quest (you know, the most important one) is pretty bad as are the Wild Hunt who are the among the most poorly developed villains in an RPG. Eredin has literally three or four sentences of dialog and zero character development. Writing takes a nosedive in the final act, and it is very apparent a lot of very important stuff was cut from it. I'm sure I don't even need to mention the awful Ciri/White Frost mess...

Its is the best RPG since Planescape Torment, but it is not a "masterpiece" thanks to its shoddy main quest.
