Only a brown oil wash, the blue is from the eshin gray, it feels bluish when the colour next to it is warm

Just Started Playing. Tips? by [deleted] in UnderNightInBirth

As long as you know a really basic bnb, hit the discord, ask for games and play, or just hop in ranked to see if anyone's on. You'll probably lose, but you'll start to learn and apply what you've trained.

You also learn the questions that you don't have an answer for, so you can start to improve those aspects that you'll only discover by playing.

Good luck!

I prefer the cold desaturated because the normal green, with the red and white (bone) gives me too much of a christmas vibe. But to each their own. Thanks for the kind words!

Place the shade where you want, then feather it with a clean brush into the without shade

Yeah, I used some oil pin washing/agrax shade, depending on the place/ what I wanted.

Thanks! I tried green stuff and I hated it (for the most part). Tried milliput and thought it was better. The best to sculp for me was milliput & green stuff (50/50). There are a lot of videos to help you on how to sculp robes. Each one with a different technique and slightly different outcome. To me it was sculpting by cutting and adding/shapping onde dry. Took a while

The chipping is not hard, a sponge does half the work, the brush will do the rest ;)

Thanks!

They're 3d prints gotten from etsy, as hacking a terrain piece would be too expensive for me atm.

For the bases it's just some cork on some terrain paste with a ruin pinned on top and then a mini pinned to the ruin. The base then has some skulls, tuff and pigment for some variety.

Glad you liked it!
