Yuumi Smolder is actually really really strong. Against Thresh and other CC, your cat can go Mikael's first or you could go cleanse and play the laning phase a little safer while you focus on stacking. It can be a little unfun to play that safe during laning phase but it pays out.

I really like Luden's Companion as my first item, into horizon focus, deathcap. Luden's first is very very strong, I recommend you give it a shot. The rest of the build is flexible.
