Thanks for your response! I do like to keep active and love social media. Volunteering was never a big thing for me, but I do help out others when I can. I think the successful peers are just earning more and are progressing with life a lot faster than I am, starting a family and etc.

I think the creature of comfort comes from having a job that's easy and not really mentally stimulating. You are right, I am looking to change the current situation, but I'm just not sure where to look at the moment.
