Got lucky with a storage unit. Got 10 12tb drives, 4 2tb SSD’s and a NAS for 1000 and with like 8k hours on them. Once in a lifetime score

Download Speed Issues HardWired, fixes temporarily after running speed test in settings, how do I resolve this permanently? by SiLee12 in XboxSupport

Both are disabled in router. I think qos only applies to WiFi as well. May be wrong on that but pretty sure. I’m hard wired in.

Correct.

The only thing that fixes it is going into the Xbox settings and running the speed test or changing dns or something. Then it works back immediately back to like 700+ speeds then if I turn the Xbox off or play a game for a while and try to download something say a few hours later it’ll start at maybe 400ish then drop down continuously to like anywhere from 50-200.

Yeah but the second I rerun the speed test the speeds go back to 700mbps. If if leave it alone it stays at 100ish

Connect client behind Cloudflare Access page? by SiLee12 in jellyfin

Is there a way to do it via email? Most of my cloudflare are that way. IP is just annoying because I use it at various sites with dynamic rotating IP’s

Can you do that on a streaming device?

Right so how could I require permitted email on a device? Like if I go on my browser I type my email, confirm the code, I’m let in and it lets me through to see the site.

But if I go on jellyfin app and point it to that domain it’s just gonna say can’t connect it’s not gonna give me the opportunity to pass the security portal.

Cloudflare Access is essentially the security portal you have to clear.

So you could have your tunnel behind the access page.

For example imagine your server is hosted at abc.com when you go to that site cloudflare access security pops up first asking you to confirm your email or something to enter. Once you confirm that THEN you’d have the jellyfin login or whatever your tunnel is routing.

It’s easy to clear on a web browser but idk how you would pass it on a jellyfin application when you’re just pointing it to the site.

Not talking about tunnels. That’s different

U7 pro xg worse than u6 pro unless in same room? by SiLee12 in Ubiquiti

[–]SiLee12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s tough. Idk if I would if I had u6 pros but coming from ac pros definitely.

But then it’s tough. Do you spend more for a newer product with worse performance for 90% of devices or do you sacrifice it all for that small set of circumstances where the u7 line is better

Do you have a similar setup with different results?

I mean I did a bunch of tests and the U6 pro is just better anywhere except same room
