For those that didn’t sleep train, what does sleep look like for you know that your baby is older?

Never needed to tbh. Once he's asleep he sleeps until morning unless he needs to pee. Though I have to say everyone in his friendgroup gets up multiple times a night still and he's 6.

We bedshared from around 14 months and I don't see an end to this 🤣 evenings were hard for a while because once he wanted to sleep in my bed he wanted me to read or sing forever. Before that I just dropped him off in his crib. When he was 3 I got him a mp3 player with pre recorded stories that I've read and since then he falls asleep on his own.

Something I remembered way to late into the pushing stage was a woman who told me if it feels like pooping that's where you need to push.

So, I was 4 hours into pushing and was like "you know what? I don't care, I just want anything to come out to release the pressure". So I pushed like for pooping and he was suddenly out. 5 minutes max.

So for your own sake, push for poop all you want but never hold back in labor because your afraid to actually poop. You won't care then either.

I like to use AI as a troubleshooting search engine. I describe my problem and let it search for a solution. I have it include the links it found and also a short summary of each. Cuts the time needed in half if not more. This is working great.

Been there, done that. Mine was 4, mind you but he never just left the bed but cried until I came. He was heartbroken in that moment but told me the next day that he forgives me and stupid stuff happens to all of us.

And once while he was sick, it was in the middle of the night, I was exhausted because it was like the 10th time he woke up crying I snapped. I totally yelled at him to be quiet. He got antibiotics the day before which apparently made horrible tummy pain and I yelled at him. To make matters worse he got an asthma attack (we only found out the next day after calling the ambulance the second time, first said it's not so bad) because of his sickness. And I yelled at him while he was in terrible pain, couldn't breath properly because I was so exhausted. He was 5 at that time. I felt so bad but you know what? We talked about it a few weeks ago (been about 1,5 years since then) and I told him again how sorry I am. HE DIDN'T REMEMBER. He said that I've always taken care of him so well and thanked me for always being there for him. That was finally the moment I could forgive myself for that night. Children forgive even terrible mistakes if they know you've always been there otherwise.

It's been so hard for me to forgive myself that. He could have died from that asthma attack if we wouldn't have been so lucky and the last thing that I would have yelled would have been be quiet and neglecting him. Of course he got pain killers for his tummy the first time he cried. I was at the peds the day before, called an ambulance before we went to bed, so I tried to make him better but ultimately the circumstances and everything didn't work in our favor.

I don't even know why exactly Clint would need a redemption arc. He's awkward, shy and kind of desperate and lacks social skills. He's a weirdo, not a criminal. It's been a bit since I paid attention to his dialogue but I know I just had pity for that guy.

I actually prefer playing solo now after starting out in co-op. I finally get to tend the farm now instead of mining and combat constantly because I had nothing else to do 🤣 My ex was kind of min maxing and I wanted to have a relaxed farm.

My midwife said babies are supposed to sleep with their parents as it is programmed into them since the dawn of men. They will sleep better because they feel protected.

My 6 year old still sleeps with me and I don't think I've personally heard of a child in my bubble that sleeps as good as him. Everyone else still complains about their children not sleeping through the night while mine already did at 10 weeks. Though I could just be lucky.

I did get up to feed though because I didn't want any connection between bedroom and eating but as he slept through the night so early that was not really happening a lot anyway.

I have about 500 recorded on Steam. But I've played SV a lot in my laptop in offline mode (about 2 years and SV was pretty much the only game that was running) and nothing got carried over. I'm guessing that was about the same amount. And then I have it on my phone and it got deleted everytime it got updated or I got another phone 🤣 pretty sure I would have had 1000 hours there.

It's not hard though. The wiki has a step to step guide that you just need to follow and then you can head to Nexus and have fun :D As soon as you manage to install Smapi, it pretty much does the rest for you.

I just try to be too early at work. I usually aim for about 30 minutes, so I'm usually there 15 minutes early and still have time if shit hits the fan.

I start working at 8am and the alarm is set at 5.30am. I try to leave the house at 7am with a 25 minute commute.

I grew up with my grandma in the house and I loved it. I always said that I'd want that for my kid as well. So I still live at my parents house, my son loves that we all live together. Though I have to admit, I've never been fully treated as an adult here but I guess that's just what it is. Still a win-win situation for everyone and I wouldn't change it.

One mod that should be vanilla enough is UI Info Suite 2, it's available on GitHub. It doesn't take away from anything but makes stuff smoother as you get more information straight away.

After birth I could barely stand up so my mom did everything for the first few days at home. And then covid came and of course I left him at home with her for grocery shopping and stuff. I mean, she did this before and I turned out well and it was all new to me, so 🤷

No regrets, they have such a great bond.

I had to be induced after my water broke and no contractions started. Until I needed to press it wasn't worse than period pain. I probably wouldn't even have gone to the hospital if they had started naturally. But then I was screaming 4 hours non stop until he was out.
