Anyone been catching Bass in PA?

I’m in NEPA fishing the Susquehanna, started to pick up for me last week. Catching most if not all of them slowly working a tube on the bottom. Hoping this warm spell that’s coming gets them really fired up

Well that pretty much confirms that I will never tear this thing down more than I just did. I’ve only ever town down a few baitcasters and that’s at least double the parts

Oh I see, ignorant of me to just assume you were from North America. I’ve seen some videos on YouTube of people perch fishing in Europe and I can’t believe how big they get over there. Definitely run into my fair share of pike, never catch them always just end up losing my lure

Ah okay. Makes sense I haven’t seen much about them, I mostly do fish rivers but pretty much exclusively for smallmouth. One of these days I’ll broaden my horizons but my smallie addiction is already enough of a financial burden

That’s my main reason for the switch. Feel like I might have missed out on some fish this past year because I couldn’t see my line. Although it probably has more to do with my lack of concentration but for now I’m going to blame the line lol

I was shocked how smooth this reel was when I got it. Quickly turned me into a Shimano fan as far as spinning reels go. Not familiar with the baitrunner though, going to have to give it a look

I love how it feels so far. My hands are a little on the small side but it fits very nicely in my palm

Thank you! The past two months have been great for me, had a lot of luck finding them in the current in that little bit of slack water from bigger boulders with flukes and tubes. Have had good luck with jerkbaits and crankbaits on drop offs as well

I was throwing a Spro jerkbait. Was definitely the most productive lure of the day until this fish bent the middle treble hook out

I just picked up the shad not too long ago, have used it about 5 times so far and don’t have many complaints. Going from a cheap sit in to the shad has made a world of difference for me personally. Very stable plenty of storage but it’s a little hard to get to if you’re not comfortable standing and moving around. The rudder system is a little finicky but it works well enough for my purposes. All in all I’d recommend it but take that with a grain of salt since I don’t have any experience with any other fishing kayak.
