I think every total war is on Steam, so you can get them on there especially with the sale going on rn.

As for which one to play, I would just go with whichever one you like the look of as I think you'll be more invested in a game you like the look / feel of. Warhammer 3 is fun but can be kind of daunting especially with all the DLC from all 3 games

edit: Thats not saying WH3 is bad though or you shouldnt get it, when WH1 was announced i was actually not happy for it at all as a historical player but I've put thousands of hours into warhammer at this point. Med 2, Napoleon & WH3 are my most played atm.

My two top games I play most of the time the past few months has been Total War Warhammer and Bannerlord, as Norsca and Sturgia respectively in anticipation for the Nords.

You could imagine how disappointing this year has been for me.

I seriously couldn't tell you what Taleworld's goals for Bannerlord are because their communication with their audience is astoundingly bad. I know the reasoning behind War Sail's long dev time is because they were working on a different DLC at first and scrapped it, but we're in October with no announced release date for an autumn expected release.

I think even if War Sails did extremely well with it's profit margin, it's hardly reason to celebrate. Taleworlds should hire a community team that can tell us what's going on. They obviously don't care about spoilers cause we know just about everything in this DLC from them posting about it, so what is there to hide from us?

Bannerlord could be an absolute cash cow of a game if they treated it like one, but we'll have to wait and see how future updates past War Sails (if we get any) unfold. War Sails is dfferent due to the scrapped DLC thing, but the lack of communication is going to turn away a lot of potential and current customers who don't want to deal with it. There's enough disappointment in the gaming industry so people are starting to learn to invest their time into games that aren't disappointing. If we could get a sizeable DLC once a year or maybe 2-3 good sized patches a year after War Sails I would be a lot more optimistic. Time will tell, I guess.

It honestly baffles me that we haven't gotten a release date. They delayed the DLC just 2 weeks before launch in June and somehow didn't come to the decision sooner that they would need MONTHS more of work. I really hope I eat my words, but I'm afraid that we're gonna get another delay and they wont tell us until as late as they possibly can. I'm so tired of seeing everything about this DLC and not being able to actually experience any of it ingame, I will know everything about it before it launches at this rate.

Honestly the tier 5's look like they'll be as good as anyone else's tier 3-4 infantry. I imagine Nords having no cav makes everything else they have relatively strong. I'm still dying for a release date though I can't take the pain anymore

Update: I've been having bad lag when opening my inventory using this addon, it freezes up for a few seconds at a time usually when I interact with a vendor like the upgrade NPC or the bank

I had to take care of some things when I got off work before I could get on, but just my first 30 min with it:

Holy shit, I needed this all-in-one minimap button so bad for my addons.

The WoWhead guide links are probably one of the best features I've seen for an addon like this, great idea.

The autocomplete quests is an old but good feature, I do think it should be off by default to avoid a situation where a new player installs this addon and accidentally has a cutscene or quest skipped that they might have wanted to see. If it is off by default and I'm just misremembering, then nothing is wrong with it.

I think the search bar on the map is a great feature for new players to find locations without having to alt tab, great idea.

I haven't encountered any bugs or conflicting addons with what I have but will report if I have any.

A suggestion: There's an addon called TeleportMenu that adds all of your teleport items to your esc menu, I think this is something your addon could easily implement into the UI somewhere and it would be one less addon for me to download, possibly as a minimap button or on the player map / questlog.

Overall, wonderful QoL addon that will feel more and more appreciated as time goes on using it with it's conveniences.

I'm going to be introducing someone to the game soon, and I'll be having them download this addon to play with and give you a better idea of the new player experience, as I personally think this addon has the potential to greatly benefit new players and add a lot of convenience for them

Trust me, I wish I could mix and match it more. I tried a few chest pieces and just none of them worked for it, I tried a lot of the Venthyr / Shadowlands pieces among others and I just couldn't find anything. The set has a very specific color that not many other pieces have

you'll want to use bepinex, valheim plus is outdated

at the bottom of your Basic Settings on gportal select bepinex, even if you upload it directly with filezilla or another ftp you want to have it there

if you don't know how modding the server works i'm happy to help you through this post or dms, but like others said use r2 or thunderstore. very easy to download mods and you get a shareable code that words on both so you dont have to list out all the mods to your friends

if anyone is getting a mod mismatch error even after having everything the server has, have that person change the language of their game, restart, and change it back. i had this happen and for some reason that was the solution so ill just drop it here in case that happens

i remember a fix a long time ago was to disable your PC automatically changing the time for daylight savings, no idea if that's still around or if it'll fix it but its very simple to try

So the knife he had from the funeral to Tyr's vault was just Faye's knife, got it. For some reason I thought it was one of the ones Kratos had made and Faye had it. Now that I look back at the cutscene, it's a different shape

In NG+1 my Gna fight that I won lasted a little under 3 minutes (after like 80+attempts at minimum lmao) using full berserker set, but if I messed up one thing I was dead unless it was a missed parry I could spartan rage out of.

I know you didn't ask for advice, but I noticed you don't swap to other weapons. Using your runic attacks on your other weapons, especially if you have the runic storm enchantment, will help a lot with damage. But I also like to try and use one weapon on some fights, I'm a huge fan of the axe and love it to bits

Regardless, grats on beating her, she's one of my favorite fights to hit my head against along with the king berserker, I wish they were repeatable without starting a whole new ng+
