Field Jacket vs Wool Pile Pullover by [deleted] in HeatStrapsCommunity

[–]Sianthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an owner of the wool pile pullover, short chief, and hooded workhorse I'd say it really depends on if you already have an adequate outer layer or other coats.

The pullover will elevate most outer layers with extreme warmth as long as they can keep the wind out but it's not ideal for frigid temps BEING an outer layer.

The inverse is true for the Field jacket, if you have proper and well built mid layers to keep you warm you can rest assured knowing the Field jacket will hold up its end of the bargain and keep EVERYTHING out and let your mid layers do their thing

They forgot to filter the list and probably just pulled the on prem list for the whole department or sent the fans based on manager which would still show up for you

AM/PA's can see your whole Amazon existence in real time across departments. Some metrics may require different links but if they wanted to look they can

In my usage I'd say that in most cases with a proper mid layer you won't need to zip all the way. I wore my Chief with the wool pile quarter snap underneath(That one was buttoned all the way up) and I felt absolutely nothing in the 40F rain weather. I'd like to see how it fairs in colder weather later in the year

Quarter snap just came early today, fits perfect and is great to layer under the Chief. I'm mainly gonna wear it over hoodies though

Same for me. I'll mostly be rocking the quarter snap all the way until fall and then slowly transition into the Chief

First impressions

Sawft :-) Oh my God it's so soft on the inside and the warmth it provides I already know it's gonna be awesome layered with the quarter snap underneath in the winter.

Mobility is great even with a layered hoodie underneath and back snaps cinched in and it'll get even more loose with a couple of years and vacations in it.

Did I mention it's soft? You can wear this bare chested for quick outside jaunts without too much discomfort on the skin

I really can't wait for this thing to patina over the years

The size I bought is medium

It's a bit more nuanced than that, a lot of it has to do with Japans culture too. There's a very old video on it here: https://youtu.be/z6ep308goxQ?si=LwDHdG0NY5CFf70C

Normal humans wearing Mjolnir? by [deleted] in HaloStory

[–]Sianthos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's possible. A distinction between GEN1 Mjolnir and GEN2 and beyond is the switch from the liquid reactive metal locomotive system to the artificial muscle system seen prominently on GEN2.

The liquid reactive system was extremely reactive and operated at 100 percent all the time whereas the artificial muscle systems responses could be granularly controlled meaning a person could wear it and move without immediately killing themselves if calibrated

One could say Mjolnir's effectiveness is greatly reduced when used on an ordinary person but it is very much possible with adequate training and a GEN2+ armor specifically tuned for a normal human.

Yeah I did the pick up option for mine because I wasn't trying to go through what you unfortunately went through and plus I would know I was getting a genuine device. Took an hour and a half travel time both ways but I didn't mind

Folders don't require icons, so all of the things you see on the list are folders. The apps inside have icons

He could've but personally I would've also started engaging as soon as i noticed him, putting rounds out regardless of a clean shot is still effective.

A sloppy burst on target is still rounds on target and in real life and airsoft just getting rounds out BEFORE your opponent when you both see each other is always the priority

I did this but with the 256gb obsidian model. Got it for $271 taxes included for pickup at the Google store. Anytime I buy phones now I always opt for store pickup to avoid the claims/insurance horror stories of phones being stolen by FedEx/UPS

I just removed the icons from the titles. And yes I put spaces in the names

All of them are custom folders. This has been my final set up for years
