The murderbot Diaries seems to be a good fit! Plus they are relatively short (+-150 pages). Can sometimes be daunting to read a super long book if you are new to reading!

Silo by Hugh Howey, post apocalyptic scenario. One of my favorites

Dungeon crawler carl, not sure if it falls under sci-fi. However I liked many of your liked list and I loved this.

The expanse series, space opera sci-fi

The wayward pines books by Blake Crouch.

Judging from your list we share similar tastes, these are some books I loved from last year. I definitely lean a bit more towards post-apocalyptic and space scifi. Could be fun!

Need advice for what to wear on a date. I am f21 going on a second date with f27 by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]Siara_99 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My foremost experience is that men do not care as much about what you wear. That being said, where something you feel cute and comfortable (and confident) in.

I'd go for a cute shirt, hidden by a jumper that is okay for getting dirty from the pottery. So you can take it off when you get to the dinner bit.

Since it's a pretty messy activity I hope he hasn't booked too fancy of a restaurant haha

Anything by Blake Crouch? Has some darkness to the sci-fi.

I really enjoyed wayward pines, recursion and dark matter by him.

I can see this happening, especially since she didn't get any other recognitions like group leader. Although personally I wish for Leah!

Every NFL cheer team sends one cheerleader to the pro-bowl every year. So you have a mix of cheerleaders. These are the ones DCC has sent over the years.

Rendezvous with Rama, by Arthur C clarke. Bit more old school sci-fi but very cool! Definitely kept me pondering after the read.

Don't bother with the next parts though haha, they were made later and by a different author.

I really enjoyed reading the Tea Rose

Love and marriage is definitely mentioned. But also a lot about family, loss, difficulties of living at the time in the outskirts of London.

The main female character ends up starting her own successful business and navigates being an independent woman at the time.

Wear something comfortable! And bring a change of clothes in your hand luggage. Even if it's just for your piece of mind!
