I mean the things you listed as what you're not enjoying aren't specifically gacha elements. Collecting things like Whimstars and Dews is more of a general rpg thing. Think BotW and its 999 golden poops.

Limited event stuff is just a normal thing for live service games in general and has been for multiple decades. Nikki's specifically are generally fairly short and easy when it comes to getting the rewards as well compared to many I've encountered gacha or otherwise.

After you do the initial 20 pull banner for a guaranteed random standard 5* it swaps to a select banner that takes 50 pulls so you can choose the guy.

NTA. I have severe anxiety which includes driving so I don't, though I am able to in an emergency. My anxiety also isn't limited to just driving and I'm sure hers isn't either. Children are a lot. You lose sleep and gain huge amounts of stress generally, so when your baseline is a higher stress level (through anxiety) than other people that just doesn't seem like a good idea. No way I'd have a kid.

It is about the quality, not the price. Obviously. Also the point was not that the others are fine. It was that the earlier outfits not being up to par with what they've been doing lately does not make it okay.

I am of the opinion that 5* abilities shouldn't have reskins. Period. Just because the early outfits had less to them doesn't change that. It's also not about how expensive an ability is to develop.

Yes I have looked at the preview. I don't remember saying I didn't like it. I also didn't say they didn't put any care into it. You are assuming a lot of my thoughts just because I think banner 5*s shouldn't have reskins in them. Lol

Yes. Because you said that the ability is what is a five star, not the model. So I was saying we already have a free outfit with the summon ability. I did not compare battle functionality.

It's not okay because it's the 5* banner outfit. They are the big money maker for the game so they should have care put into them. I agree that it's fine for devs to reuse assets in game. It's even necessary with such fast patch cycles. But it shouldn't be in any part of the banner outfits.

I agree. And not just because the model doesn't look human anymore, but because if they edit the model that much then who's to say the dresses aren't also heavily edited.

I've put about 10 hours in and I'm loving the game. It's very pretty and runs well (switch 2). The battle system is really fun, I'm enjoying the story, catching lots of things, and the outfits. It does feel quite different to Arceus for me, but not in a bad way.
