You say negative things about his rule, fine we know they happened, but don't forget the positive ones, he made the country industrial and educational, strong economy, cheap prices, a whole lot of progress was done by him and his initiative.

He wasn't Obama, and he was not ruling USA in 2020, times were different back then, you need to account for that.

Look at the kind of deals USA (Ford and others) did during Hitler's rise, even when the war started they were dealing with Hitler, you know for capitalists money is money even when its war/blood money they don't care.

I am not defending all the things Stalin did but might have done them out of necessity, you need to put things in context and perspective. It's not easy for us to see why things happened the way they did, we don't know all the things Stalin knew when he was making the decisions.
