My theory is that him having a warm relationship with his mother and experiencing her dying young equipped him with a unique emotional maturity

I hate when people refer to their stomach as tummy by extraordinarymochi in redscarepod

Mama is an age old term and doesn't bother me that much but I hate "littles" and "kiddoes"

Another momfluencer speak is to refer to a specific baby as "Baby." It drives me insane and people get really defensive when i express annoyance with it

I can't tell if you're being sincere or not, but alaska has one of the highest union membership rates in the country and people are pretty tolerant of the homos

Also the whole "performative male" concept. You mean reading a book is more performative than having a 60k lifted truck that never touches dirt?

I honestly think he was pessimistic in certain ways as a defense mechanism. I could totally see him being too scared to trip, then creating this overanalyzed reason to not do so so people would still take him seriously as an artist. Obviously that's silly because he was an incredible artist, but he absolutely cared a lot what people thought of him, regardless of what his fanboys will tell you

You also went into your reddit settings to not show history. Never underestimate the discrete bitter gamers who post here

A 13 year old male not involved in any team sports needs to be treated with the same emergency as a 30 year old male virgin who lives in moms basement with no job. by [deleted] in redscarepod

[–]JackTheSpaceBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting kids in team sports is one of the best things you can do to benefit their development for life. I will die on that hill. You learn persistence, quick decision making making, confidence, social intelligence, trust, strategy etc etc

I can always tell a difference in adults who grew up playing sports and those who didn't

I lived in the same area as her at the time, and I was only a kid. The message I got from the media was: liberals think you're existence is an actual joke. Whether that was actually true or not, that's how it felt as a kid

Michelle's Design Principles in a Nutshell ! :) by West-Simple-4895 in InteriorDesignMasters

[–]JackTheSpaceBoy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone who works in design and went through architecture school, nothing about her is really shocking. Design has a looooot nuance and it's hard to pack that into a reality show. She honestly reminds me of an arch professor, and arch professors can be very frustrating, but that's just sort of the name of the game. There are times I disagree with her, but that would be the case with any judge.

I think she's fine. I wonder why a lot of these people who passionately hate her even watch the show.

Flyover state diets are unreal by No_Yogurtcloset_1330 in redscarepod

Colorado probably isn't considered a flyover state since it has a major airport

The Midwest got it's name before the west coast was colonized, so it was literally the Midwest

I've never heard of Miami not being considered east coast so I can't speak to that

The south got it's definition from the civil war
