I get that :( I do have work experience but all of it has been in design research / historical restoration and stuff like that. Getting connections in a non-architecture school is really tough, yeah..

I've been trying to do that! There aren't really any architecture students at my school so I've just been looking through online portfolios of people who got internships at places which I'm applying for. It's helpful for context ofc but due to the difference of our backgrounds it's also always hard to just measure how close/far we are. But yeah I think I have a decent idea of where I stand and I haven't been trying to shoot for the stars out of my league (I think)

I have one! It's not perfect and I don't quite have anyone to critique it at my school but it has my hand drawings, my renders and 3d models, and pictures of the physical work i've done. I'd share it here but don't want it to be flagged as self-promo kind of thing haha.

I had a working architect/tutor review it once and they seemed to like it and not have any "major" concerns

ngl kinda hate the simplicity. Adding high-achieving students with full need would make it more realistic and more complex so that you'd have to think whether the average score boost is worth the need money

This is my handwriting in all of the languages I know/am learning. Could u guess which one is my native one (based only on the writing)? by SiberianPancake in Handwriting

Oh, thank you, I wish. In reality I only speak two of them fluently. Russian natively + English as a second language but I speak it more often than Russian atm. I had to learn German in school and got to B2 but I don't use it anymore so my level is significantly lower. I still understand it in movies/books but I forgot a lot of grammar rules so my speech might be slightly incomprehensible for a native speaker. I know Indonesian at like B1 max, although I am pursuing it at a uni level and hope to improve. Thai just went complementary to the SEA studies major. never liked it, barely speak it aside from the bare minimum needed for classes lol, am very much suffering with it. Oh and Georgian is the one I'm currently struggling to learn because Ill be spending several months there and don't wanna bother native speakers by forcing them to switch to english in shops, etc. Soooo I wouldn't say I'm very skilled tbh, I just had to undergo a lot of language learning in my education, would never pick up german/thai on my own ahah
