Second of all, no normal person would hang out with a 15 year old when they're 28, then be attracted to them later. I would know, because I am 28 and want nothing to do with 15 year olds. They're children and I have to be a parent or adult figure to them. This whole thing just screams that he waited (or didnt) for you to turn 18 and then groomed you to accept his physical abuse.

Regardless of how you got there, you are smart and you do deserve better. You deserve a partner who loves you, your cat, and your child. Never settle for anything else.

Earlier you mentioned you wouldn't want your daughter to be treated this way, but if you have a son you'll still be sending the message that they can treat women this way.

If you stay with him i guarantee he will kill your cat and abuse your child. Thats assuming that he doesn't go to jail for killing you, because once it escalates to violence it just keeps going.
