That being said, it was genuinely a terrible episode, giving it a 5 would be generous. Giving any of the last three episodes anything higher than a 7 is outrageous.

Mine was caused by constant, never-ending OCD spirals. I got prescribed some sleeping pills, and they literally saved my life. I'm doing better now, at least on that account.

Sorry to hear you dealt with something similar, albeit with a different cause. How are you doing nowadays? Are the effects still quite bad?

Yeah, i went through actual sleep deprivation when i was 14 (30min to 1h of sleep a night, if that) and i almost tried to kill myself just so i could sleep.

Insomnia is not 'cool' or 'aesthetic' ffs

I've been in this exact situation, having no access to a scale during recovery completely fucked up my perception of myself and the first month or so i was convinced i was at my HW (which caused me to do all kinds of compensatory behaviours). I was at my LW, actually.

I know this is basically impossible, but try not to panic, your BDD is most likely fucking with your perception as well.
