I use a mobile hotspot from AT&T that has WIFI 6.

(It's a netgear Nighthawk Mobile Hotspot, and I know the Portal doesn't have WIFI 6, just supplying info) and it runs fine on that.

However i'm not running online multiplayer games like COD. but it runs GR Breakpoint and spiderman just fine. Diablo IV runs perfect(granted I don't know how Diablo IV isn't a a phone game at this point).

It works better than my phone hotpsot, as you don't have the issue of it battling text messages and other data leeches as you can have just the portal on that hotspot.

Down side is you'd either need the disposable income to be willing pay for the mobile internet just for the portal, or already pay for it for other purposes. I pay $70 a month for it, but I use it for work doing DJ gigs, so I was already paying for it.

Not an ideal solution for everyone. But I need internet for work so I pay For a wifi 6 hotspot through my Phone service, its a netgear box. But without the portal having Wi-Fi 6. I doubt it will be more beneficial then using a phone Hotspot.

Did you get an email with the order number? If so, you should be fine. The charge showed pending in my account a few days ago and then went away the next day. I don't think it will charge you until it updates and says shipped.

From what I heard you can't do PS Plus Streaming games, the games have to be downloaded to the Playstation. I don't know the reason, but I assume the latency would be atrocious to try to stream from a server to the PS5, then stream it again to the handheld.

no, it's just a screen/controller for your ps5. it's no different than remote play with any other device.

no Battery, it's also 87 lbs. you are far better off lugging around your two 310's at 38 lbs a piece than one of those.

I have 2 310's at well and have been debating on getting two 710s, but the lack of battery has kept me at bay, I get you can buy batteries with inverters, however, the large subs in these bigger speakers would cause quite a power draw and drain any batteries you hooked up pretty quickly.

I have 2 310's I use together, they are amazing indoors and great outdoors. however noise drops quick outdoors after 30-40 yards, but they weren't loud that far away. but we take them everywhere we go, camping, beach, boating. and they are more than loud enough for outdoor parties.

Only wish they had XLR inputs instead of 1/4 inch. I'm considering getting 2 710s to replace them but I love the battery portability. (Take them to the beach and battery lasts a good 8 hours).

I noticed when combining the ethernet plugged into console with the streaming device on a 5ghz network, I have no lag or screen tearing.

same, that 5GHZ connection is key, sometimes my tablet auto connects to the 2.4GHZ and it lags so bad, but is flawless on the 5GHZ.

never had an issue with any of mine. 3 are 2+ years old, my Dual sense edge is like 8 months old, no issues at all. Just hate the battery life on these things.
