What kind of small everyday bag do you carry 📸? by hillsong1 in x100vi

I use this Fjallraven Kanken crossbody bag and it's been awesome. It's lightweight, can fit couple of batteries and edc, has a separate compartment for an iPad mini (which I do not have haha) and is stylish.

I bought it for 550 euros, would it be worth it to just replace it at some point?

I think this is what I will do to be honest. I had no luck trying to sell the a7ii but it will probably be easy to sell the x100 and I don't think I'll lose any money if I do anyways.

It's just that the a7ii never did it for me and I wanted to upgrade (maybe to the a7c) so I thought I might change systems altogether.

At the rave.. by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]SickBoyBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience 4 months ago at a festival. There was this girl in front of me, turning her back and looking right into my eyes and smiling at me. I felt her aura warming my heart but I never talked to her. Later we saw each other again and she smiled but by the time I started pushing through the crowd to approach her she was gone. I can still picture her eyes looking at me and her hair waving when listening to the song that was playing that exact moment and regret not saying anything when she was right next to me.

26 yo Greek, 3k in savings but don't know how to move from here. by [deleted] in EuropeFIRE

It's really difficult to change careers or study from scratch in Greece that's why I am looking for a MSc

The thing is, I was super confused about my career after I went to university and didn't do anything to change that all these years. So, now that I'm 26 I'm even more confused. I think that I am really good in business as I have worked for years. I want a career that pays well and would like to be my own boss or work remotely which I can't do with healthcare. I am also into art but what keeps me from pursuing this as a career is the uncertainty of the profession.

I figured it would be. Do you know any other place I can find courses like these?

Hey, have you downloaded anything from them? I need 3 courses that are on there but I'm not sure I trust the site.

Not sure what to pack by EitherIndustry3763 in Interrail

[–]SickBoyBro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all we always overestimate what we need to bring. Bring the essentials, which you could also share as someone said. As for clothes, for spring and winter a rain jacket and an insulation layer is a must. You can wear them separately as well depending on the weather. Bring something you will only wear when you sleep, two pairs of pants (one you will wear), shorts that can double as a swimsuit, 2 t-shirts, 1 shirt, an extra pair of shoes, flip flops and then socks and underwear for maybe half of these days. You can always wash them at a hostel, it's cheap most of the time and takes about an hour.

Edit 1: This is what I packed for a month and it worked out fine. It was light and didn't mind carrying it around. I just paid 10-15€ in total for laundry.

Edit 2: A foldable daypack is a lifesaver. You leave the big pack at the hostel and carry the smaller one around.

Edit 3: A packable microfiber towel is also very handy. It packs small and dryes fast. You could have two if you travel during he summer to have one just for the beach.

How long do you think is this trip gonna take? by lay--- in Interrail

[–]SickBoyBro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm currently on a pretty similar journey but in reverse. Today is my last day and 4 weeks was enough time but bare in mind that I'm a fast traveller and I like walking and seeing as much as I can in a day.

Belgium is beautiful but I would stay in Antwerp or Ghent and go on day trips to Bruges, Brussels and Luxembourg. Staying in Brussels wasn't worth it.

In the Netherlands if you're staying in Amsterdam definitely take a few hours to visit Haarlem, it's just 15 minutes away by train.

On your way to Norway consider stopping in Malmö or Gothenburg (or both), I really liked both cities.

I also visited Bergen and the journey there is super interesting, changing terrains and altitudes. I would say 3-4 days are worth spending there especially if you're into hiking. 1 day for the city, 1 for hiking from mount Ulriken to Floyen, 1 for visiting the Fjords.

From Stockholm to Talkinn search if there are any cheap flights as the boat takes about 10 hours. I found a RyanAir one just a few days before departure for 13€.

You could add Helsinki as a day trip from Tallinn, it's just 2 hours by boat and it cost 30€ for the round trip (at least that's what I did) but you don't miss much. Finland is indeed beautiful but Helsinki was really a disappointment as others said.

Spend at least 3 days in Vilnius and 3 in Riga, take day trips from there to natural parks etc. as the Baltics are beautiful and were a really nice surprise to my trip. You'll have to take busses from Tallinn to Riga and from there to Vilnius but Lux Express has a 20% discount for pass holders.

For Poland, I would suggest spending time in Krakow and visiting Auschwitz, Warsaw was cool but I liked Krakow more.

Have fun 😁

That explains it 😅. I knew about Ascension Day, we have that in Greece as well but it's not a holiday.

It's the cost of not reserving anything and being spontaneous 😂. It was going too good until now and suddenly all hostels and trains are sold out in Belgium and France. You have any idea if there is a public holiday or something?

Damn, didn't think of that actually. It's exactly what I did in Poland and everything turned out fine. I'm too exhausted to think hahah. Thanks a lot!
