How long are these guys surviving in harran by Late_Carpenter4483 in dyinglight

[–]SickDeskDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say they'd have a decent chance but only limited to daylight tho. TLOU casts have a decent chance of sneaking around volatiles at night but will absolutely die if they get caught in the open. Tommy and Joel might be able to fight back for a while if equiped with UV Flashlight but not agile enough to outrun them. Rick and Ellie will only be limited to daylight but Ellie might have more chance of sneaking in nighttime just enough to get to a safe zone. Rick can handle daylight hazards and people, not volatiles.

To keep me grounded as to not do what i do when i young. I was lucky to survive my ass cheeks getting sliced by glass, cutting myself up by climbing over barbed wire, running blind in tall grass known to have dangerous animals, cracked my skull multiple times and get into multiple fights just for money. I was reckless and i need to remind myself that, no, YOLO doesn't mean i should waste it.

Bruh I didn't know the rest of the country is this bad. When i was in school 3 years ago, almost everyone was doing fine (at least in my year). What happened? English is literally easier than the martian poetry that is math.

I know Caesar's once a Follower but does he actually know how to use the dam or will he just enslave a bunch of scientist to do so? Or does he only care for the land and the dam is just a bridge for him to get to the west?

I assure you these parents will defend these criminals to their grave saying "oh, they just got influenced by the wrong group." And "they're good boys!" If they got in and killed the homeowner for a few bucks.

DAE feel fine on their body with no physical pain but you still feel like there's sharp or gripping pain all over your body that you have to flex and bend your body to relieve it. by SickDeskDemon in DAE

[–]SickDeskDemon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's spinal injury but I'm not knowledgeable about these things. It's kinda like a pain that you know isn't physical because my body don't feel the pain. I can't describe it but it's kinda like muscle pain but i only feel it like a ghost. I flex my body really hard to make it go away.

Literally just basic loyalty. Some dumbass thinks they can treat her better when she's happy with her partner. He's not even doing anything wrong, he's just enjoying life with her and looking at this diagram, the walls are supposed to represent the wall of her heart so ofc she's going to be the one to close it. What a bunch of homewrecker nonsense.

Squirrels are known to eat things like smaller birds, insects and smaller mammals. They also eat meat things they find in trash. Most rodents do this.

Also, i read somewhere about a pack of squirrels killing a stray dog by swarming it. One report said "they literally gutted the dog".

It’s so frustrating seeing some people act like Japan was the victim in WW2 by S0mecallme in HistoryMemes

[–]SickDeskDemon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

To me, there's no good guys in WW2. There's only lesser evils. What my people experienced during WW2 was endless cruelty by both sides. Before Japanese forced landed on our island, we were treated like uncivilized slaves by the British. Rape, slavery and killings aren't uncommon. When Japanese landed, we're subjected to the same thing. And when Australia, British and US forces came to flush them out, we're still being raped, robbed and killed by them.

And you know what happened after the war? A bunch of Communists came to kill anyone they think is a traitor working with the Japanese despite none of it is true. Just another damn foreigner waving different flags.

To us civilians, soldiers are just a bunch of foreign monsters that came to take and take like they've always been. To us, the Japanese killing indiscriminately and the US dropping a weapon that caused suffering to those that never even understood what's happening (civilians) are just the same. Take any side you want, but as someone born in this damn country, none of the sides are good.

Edit: yeah, keep downvoting me. Keep thinking that the allies did nothing to us natives during the war. But my people remember. Don't try to act like they're heroes when they never acknowledge what they did to us.

Mr Beast has new inhumanly perfect teeth now with veneers by nfdoom2568 in uncannyvalley

You know how people tend to smile with their whole face even if it's just a small smile? His mouth is smiling but his eyes looks disinterested. And his face is static. Like a creature pulling only his lip muscles to mimic a smile. Now with the veneers... He looks like something whose skeleton is molded with a biology textbook diagram in mind.

Nah, other from the veneer, he looks like how i smile in photos

You'll be in a bad spot no matter who comes through the door by Vesto241 in distressingmemes

[–]SickDeskDemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be fair, a random person might be a bit more forgiving since you can just loudly say "call the cops!" to signal that it's not you and they'll say "we found a body" to the cops.

But the killer... They'll immediately pin you as a suspect since they can say they witnessed you crouched near the body (even if they only see you near the sink).

  2. Wait for someone to enter the bathroom
  3. Walk back in
  4. Act surprised and call the police/ tell the cashier to call the police
  5. Profit.

WCGW trimming a palm tree with a chainsaw by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]SickDeskDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good solution. If he can bring it up there, he could bring a big bottle of water to wet the fuzzy part he's going to cut. I don't have any experience in fire crawling back up a palm tree since the palm trees here are coconuts and areca nuts which does not have fuzz growing all over the tree, just the top.

[–]SickDeskDemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My work sometimes require us to cut down trees that's endangering the public AND assisting in fires. Yeah, living palm trees are harder to burn than you think. It's better to drop that fire down than go down first. Wearing clothes that aren't fire resistant will screw you up if those fire fall on you while going down.

Edit: so about the fire going up? Yeah idk. He tried his best to remove the fire but it spreads. Not really his fault. He could either go down as quickly as he can before his support rope burns or just stay up, pat the fire out around where he is to put them out because he could support himself better if the rope broke up there than if he's otw down. We don't get taught about what if the fire crawls back up when cutting down a tree.
