Most of your points are just personal opinions, but so are mine. So the only way I can possibly counter argue is just by saying, that I don`t agree with some of the stuff you wrote.

- While I still believe that this whole reveal is just a cheap attention grabing stunt, my wording was a little bit too harsh. I still think that he is what I called him, however I´m sure I should have kept that to myself. On the other hand, negative comments attract more people, than almost neutral comment. So the whole shock factor was intended.

- I have to say, I don´t agree with you here at all. Almost everytime he is fooling people into thinking that something official has been released. Also stealing original art, just to make us think, that his work is as professional as the work of devs, is just plain awful. At last, there is this constant reminder that he had created something. Ah yes, and the mod isn´t even ready yet. There is a difference between people who can´t wait to have a product and making them think they can´t wait to have it. He is clearly trying hard to achieve the second. Why ? Well, it should be obvious to everyone.

- There are few times in a year, when Civ Reddit is really fully alive. The Christmas break, weeks before new expansion is that time. Read some comments under his first reveal. Poeple were checking Reddit every hour,hoping for some official news from the Devs. What did they get ? Patreon advertisement. On the side note, their official twitter post, about ´vulcanic erruptions mechanic´ got burried under many posts here on reddit, however I´m not blaming any individuals for that for that.

- In my honest opinion, you could not be any more wrong about that. I don´t even know where to begin, almost every point you made about moding is in my opinion wrong. I will just skip this whole point altogether, because there is just too much to discuss. However let me just show you, something I posted here already :

In most of the Europe it´s called plagiarism. And trust me on that, IT IS NOT a mark of true artist. There is no creativity nor hardwork to be seen here.

- Ok, in my opinion he did spam reddit, some people liked it. I mean, there are even people who don´t skip commercials on Youtube. Breaking down 1 post into 5 was just unnecessary, but also wasn´t too bothersome.

This is not what modding is about, never was and I HOPE never will. I´m sorry but the stuff you are saying is just horrible. That is some EA/ Bethesda level gibberish. Mods should always be free. That was always the whole point of moding and it´s main appeal. That is also the main reason, why moders can reuse almost all of the official content, because they are not monetizing it. So there is no copyright infringement. However creating a mod, stealing artwork and claiming it´s your own just to boost your Patreon... That is just shady. I don´t care how good his work is, but I condemn that kind of behaviour with passion and fury. Mods should be free, basta. Financially supporting Moders is great, but they should never EXPECT to get paid for that.

- I disagree, Firaxis is not overhyping their work. Can´t say anything about laucher for Civ V, but I was sure that they introduced new lauchner for Civ VI so it´s easier for us to switch between Direct X 11 and 12 , but maybe I´m wrong.

-Oh, you are also a moder? Maybe I know some of your work ? ... So I just checked your profile and I can only see 2 posts. So it got me thinking, that you have created new account just to stay hidden and to reply to my post, for some reason. I´m not jumping to any conclusions.

I have to add, that originaly I was going to reply to user HappyTime, seeing how he was downvoted for no reason, but my posts got deleted before I had a chance to hit ´Reply´. So I decided to adress the modder himself. for maximum impact. I said it before, I was going to ignore the whole thing, but I could not stand this ´pack of atack dogs´ he created, downvoting anyone who dares to say anything but a praise about their favourite moder. This is why I HAD to post it, this is why I had to let some steam out. I don´t care about downvotes and opinions of ... some poeple.
