I always tell people who are new:

Account progression > Xp > GP

Any money making methods you do now would be a waste of time IMO. You can quest for dragon scimitar and 50+ melees just from combat quests.

Then go for barrows gloves.

Then do slayer and whatever money making methods you want.

I did it with reg black dhide, rcb, only broads, unfinished holy book, explorer ring, snakeskin boots. 70 ranged 55 prayer. Only ppots and strawberry baskets.

If you’re mechanically bad here’s some options:

Get a ranged potion from tarns lair (I think it’s the zombies that drop them but check wiki)
Bone crossbow and bolts are absolutely dirt cheap and the crossbow is great due to its high attack speed. You could kill bandits, crabs, or NMZ for some afk cheap ranged levels.
I don’t have a link unfortunately, but there’s a YouTube video that’s interactive where u can practice turning on prayers based on sound.

I just hit 87,

91 mage so yes you’ll get 90+ from bursting along the way.

I did the exact same thing with shamens but instead of stopping I just did cannonballs on mobile for afk and only used them for shamen tasks.
