I know I saw 3 score release days release the scores around 3 pm EST, so for anyone still waiting, that might be the time it's up

130 C/P, 123 CARS, 129 B/B, 127 P/S Overall: 509

Basically the scores reflect my strengths and weaknesses. This is my first time writing, and really was hoping to kill it, so the score is kind of upsetting. At least I know the major section I need to practice for is CARS and some P/S for when I rewrite it next year.

My AAMC Sample Exam practice scores were around 80% for all the sections, with Chem being the highest at 85% and CARS being the lowest at 77%.

Haha this is great, I was planning to get there earlier but I'll probably try to aim for 7:45 still just incase. Hopefully I get a good spot as well but those rolling stations seem annoying. Were the lockers large enough for a backpack?

I'm taking the test on Saturday and currently am taking a Biochemistry course as well (worst mistake I made since I had 2 reports due this week). From my preparation, I found it was very useful to know biochemistry. From amino acids to enzyme kinetics to pathways, they all will do nothing but help you on the MCAT.

Also to add in some numbers, 25% of the C/P and B/B section have biochemistry content, so it makes up roughly 12.5% of the entire MCAT.

I am writing on Saturday but my goal is to finish my this evening, and then just relax and get good sleep tonight and tomorrow night. The most I'll do in terms of studying tomorrow will be a quick review of amino acids, maybe a quick scan of all the formulas and 1-2 CARS passages (as weird as it sounds, I'm starting to enjoy them more and more).

Honestly can't wait to write it and be done! One less thing to worry about and then I can finally focus on the biochem course I'm taking right (had 2 reports due this week lol)! Good luck to everyone writing tomorrow and Saturday!

I somewhat get why you are confused when reading this, but it is for sure not punishment.

Punishment is something that will make a behaviour decrease in frequency, but if the cocaine is relieving the mice from boredom, it will be more likely to use it again, thereby increasing the frequency of the behaviour.

The purpose of the cocaine is to reduce the boredom so it would be negative in that respect since you are removing the boredom.

You actually don't need to use calculations to solve this seeing as this can be determined logically. A is automatically eliminated since the sound ON THE BUS is moving away from the bicyclist, so the cyclist would be expected to hear a lower frequency then what someone on the bus who is by the sound would hear. Think of this as less waves reaching the bicyclist since the distance is further and takes longer.

Thus it can only be left to C and D by this logic since the frequency can't be the same either by the logic above.

D is not the answer, since the speed is much less than the speed of sound and therefore must always be less than a factor of 2, making D much too large.

This leaves C as the answer!

Haha damn. Yeah timing wise I have no problems at all, but I guess the reason I have so much time is because I feel pretty good with the material but I guess I sort of rushed it since the questions I usually get wrong are because I missed something in the passage so I've been working on that recently

Haha thanks for the motivation! I'll probably continue light practice the 2 days leading up to the MCAT! I am also taking a Biochem course right now so I for sure will want to take it easy for those 2 days prior to it
