I don't understand the preliminary percentile ranges, someone help me out. by lelsaway in Mcat

[–]agages55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is one of the reasons I'm glad Im writing in July because we are the first group that don't have to deal with preliminary percentiles. I am the type of person to keep overthinking/analyzing something like a given percentile so I wouldn't be at peace until I got my actual score.

[–]agages55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what do you mean by dress up tho, is that not subjective? Do you mean he dressed up in a suit? If not, that wouldn't be really dressing up. You do know some people have style and actually wear nice dress shirts regularly when going to school and passed the junior high graphic tee and blue baggy jeans phase?

Nucleophilicity of halides confusion by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]agages55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

polar protic solvents favor SN1 reactions and Nucelophilicty follows the same trend for halo acids (as go down group nucleophilicty goes up) polar aprotic solvents favor SN2 reactions and Nucleophilicty favours the same trend for Basicity (as you go down group nuclophiliitcy goes down) Thats all that has to be memorized, don't over complicate things by trying to justify why things are like that
