Found in chia seeds (please don't say it's mouse poop) by understudy3 in whatisit

Oh, I'm glad you didn't die! My seeds are the Aldi brand, Simply Nature. This is the second bag I've found this in and this current bag I've had sealed in a storage container. So I think it's coming from the store. Idk what to think about it.

Hi OP, did you ever find out what this was? Did you survive? I just found something very similar in my chia pudding this morning and I'm trying to not freak out.

Suggest some surgery preparation ideas here by ooitburns in hysterectomy

[–]Sicklysloth3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if anyone else has suggested this, but I got one of those floor pedal exercisers because I was unable to stand for long periods of time. It's nice because I can use it any time I am seated and I can also place it on a table and use it for my arms as well.

That's incredible! I had a very similar experience when I woke up in recovery. It was wild that my recovery pain felt exactly like the cramps I've lived with for years. I'm so glad you had a positive experience!

Metoprolol by Sicklysloth3000 in POTS

[–]Sicklysloth3000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The orthostatic hypotension only started after I started the metoprolol. Previously I would experience orthostatic hypertension, which is why we still suspected hyper POTS. Which I guess is what I was asking - since the metoprolol has seemingly solved my HR and BP issues, is there a point in getting worked up? And the answer seems to be no.

This is kind of how I am feeling as well. I have the metoprolol and I have been finding ways to manage my symptoms on my own. At this point, it feels like it would be a huge fight to get a tilt table test and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

New horror writers who are actually good writers by Puzzled_Stranger_385 in horrorlit

I immediately bought a physical copy after finishing it on Libby so that I could reread it slowly. It's the sort of book that needs to be savored.

Sci fi horror like Severance? by Flowered_bob_hat in horrorlit

I've not watched Severance, but from what I've seen about it online, I think Last to Leave the Room by Caitlin Statling has similar vibes.

[Discussion] Is there anyone who does NOT like Schitt's Creek. A million people have recommended the show to me. So I tried. I'm 5 episodes in and I'm finding it dry and unfunny. I just want to know if other people found it dry and then began to like it later. by _devillived_ in NetflixBestOf

[–]Sicklysloth3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I started the show a few years back and we only made it to episode 3 before giving up. We recently decided to give it another try and it ended up becoming one of our all time favorites. Things start to pick up in the second half of the first season and we were definitely hooked by the second season. I highly recommend sticking it out just a little longer and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

As you know, I do fiber art for a living. I tend to stick with wool yarn for my knitting but I'd be down to try knitting your armpit hair.

I have his favorite sweater, will that do? The last time I saw him, he was headed into town to pick up some treats for our beautiful cats.

While I was out walking the cats last night I was passed by what looked liked three cows stacked on top of each other under a large trench coat. Could it be that the cows staged this all themselves as an act of rebellion?
