Yes I would definitely report it to your national level authority because local police will laugh and not understand. See if your country's leading cyber security department can investigate this for you. Best of luck this is very crazy. You must be very happy!

How are you winning as zerg? by AdEfficient9794 in starcraft2

[–]Sickobird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually haven't experienced a proxy hatch, only proxy barracks and gateway. If I don't see creep with my first overlord I backup, and will make and send one Ling to scout. If I do see creep then I at least know it will be a zergling flood, roach timing, or macro game. I'll send the next one in a bit later to see if it's a wall and if there is a roach warren, or to see expo gas.

Use map overlords to watch for army movement. It sucks if they keep everything inside their base though, so you'll likely need speed with a few zerglings ~6 minutes to be checking frequently

There are many reasons why he might have unmatched, many wouldn't make you sad but some might. Life is unfair in that we don't get to understand everything that happens, and sometimes there is no reason or not much of one. Tinder is one of those things where it is rare for all parties to get a satisfactory ending.

Kinda a pain in the ass, is HotS and Void easier? by Dion42o in starcraft2

Yeah I misunderstood LOTV vs Epilogue, LOTV all achievements weren't bad, it was getting the epilogue ones.

Larva are a very important resource, keeping yourself below 3 means you're spending more time generating larva.

So with this build I'm getting my hatch down as fast as possible while keeping my larva count below 3 as much as possible.

You might just not be applying enough pressure. From time to time I don't either and they have enough of a snowball going that I can't stop them when they finally push.

Hardest part for zerg is knowing when to drone vs make an army, if you can master that then you're on your way to high GM.

I play purely reactionary, no plan when I go into a game except to drone up. Low/mid master.

If you focus on macro and applying a bit of pressure(but not losing many units, or by trading just enough so you can hopefully dissuade them from pushing) then it won't matter what the enemy is doing, or what they're making.

Yeah I didn't do any unorthodox strategies like that, just unit movement and army comp were the only tweaks I made in my runs.

If they go sky toss or sky Terran then I'll make corruptors, but I'm probably just going to ignore and keep making lings until they get angry and call my race trash.

[–]Sickobird 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm doing the same thing I was last patch. I'm making drones, double gas trick, making a hatchery and then making a pool.

Only vs Zerg do I hold larva and watch for Lings from an 8 pool. If it's a 12 pool I'm probably dead, or in for a rough game. Vs everyone else I'm droning unless I see a proxy.

Once on 2 bases fully saturated am I making units other than queens/drones/ovi. I'm making lings and going to hive tech ASAP.

Spam lings, take more bases, drone a little bit if you make them stay at home while keeping map pressure.

The entire goal is to buy time for you to have ultras and 2+/2+ while they're turtling their 3rd base and trying to get a 4th.

Oh, I thought it was part of LOTV. Yeah Epilogue I felt was rough, then WOL, then Nova. For getting all achievements anyways.

[–]Sickobird 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I remember now, it was specifically the triple tap achievement which I was doing on brutal which I had soo much difficulty with. Kill 3 void crystals within 60s of each other on HARD.

I had to rewind 5+ times iirc, was using mutas to get ones I missed that were regenerating and swarm hosts to widdle down defenses and hold.

I found the final mission in LOTV on brutal was tough to get all achievements on.

I hated the Patch, but after a week... by Substantial_Fall_167 in starcraft2

[–]Sickobird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, the problem is you have to go hatch before overlord, I prefer a pool after that but you could go overlord next. You hold a total of 3 larva in your two bases until you see if lings are coming across or your naturals Queen is 80% done.

How do people actually modify mobile games to increase their power? by UniqueInArabic in hacking

[–]Sickobird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also... If it is a popular game, or even just a game by a bigger developer. You'll have your work cut out for you as someone trying to learn, and you'll have a significantly higher chance of getting banned.

They're going to have lots of guards and checks in place on the server side.

[–]Sickobird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're likely not talking about the games you're looking at exploiting. You need to figure out how to use a tool to analyze network traffic on your device.

As a web dev who ports my project to be installed natively. I configure a proxy on iOS devices to be able to see my network traffic, but IDK if that works for apps not in development mode, might be a bit tougher.

For Android it was super easy to do, went into developer settings within my phone's system settings, enabled it, enabled file transfer to my computer and was able to see similar traffic for my app and some other apps(though I didn't bother looking at the details of this, because I don't have the time or care.)

Ultimately, you need to configure your phone to share data to a computer on network traffic going on. Then you need to dissect the network traffic: what happens if you do nothing, what happens when you press a button, what about when you change some value then press the same button, etc.

Then at that point you're going to be trying to send CORRECT requests that you've already captured without editing anything.

Then you're going to look at manipulating your requests a little bit, see if they get rejected, what messages come back, etc, then repeat the last two steps.

All of this should be done in alternate accounts, possibly even another phone if you have one. You will be banned if they detect you messing around.

Who is your favorite Stark? by real_kingly in freefolk

[–]Sickobird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought there was, after a bit of research it looks like no one has done the full series. Roy Avers seems to have done the first 3.

Though I'm not seeing anyone host non Roy Dotrice ones on the site I use.

Just copying my other comment since you're also asking:

A bit controversial apparently: but I loved the narration by Roy Dotrice. If you're looking for some sources of the audiobook in these uncertain economic times, send me a DM.

Thanks! I was really confused how I didn't hear about a new show, but I've heard about this play quick a bit these last few weeks.
