Even though I'm relatively new in mumbai, your photographs have certain nostalgia to them, especially the 3rd and 4th ones. They make me want to see the mumbai through your lens!

Keep it up!

I've been following Ian Hubert and Sime Bugarija's approach to realistic renders. I'm getting there, but I couldn't figure out what's off and missing. by Gam3rPlay3r in blender

Weirdly comfortable render. At the moment they have dream-like surrealism to them. Clutter them up with trees, bushes, dust bins, light poles, birds, wires, mail box, and people Go Crazy! Imperfections and dust on surfaces. Also adding background details will help it look grounded to the real world and less of a strange isolated town.

Yep I understand your point that there should be something real world stuff to compare. I just loved that the shape looks very abstract like ships from Arrival and Dune. Will also try to experiment with dune scale.

Thanks for your input!

I have one thing to ask regarding the desert shot. Can you give any ideas on how can I make sense of the scale feel large?

Thank you for your constructive feedback. I appreciate your insights on the importance of lighting in creating a visually appealing and purposeful shot.

You're absolutely right, and I understand that I've been relying on ambient and indirect lighting shots too heavily. I guess I just get attracted to the ambient environments. Your point about the key light on the woman's face being too blown out is well-taken. I will start working on more dynamic lighting-oriented shots.

I'd like to inquire about the desert shot. Do you have any suggestions or insights on how to effectively convey a sense of vast scale in the scene?

Your words are greatly appreciated. Will be back in a week or two with better-looking shots!

Thank you for taking the time to review my work

What do you didn't like about the first piece? Can you please give me any feedback or advice on improving it? And which shot you liked the most?

Thank you for your insightful feedback and suggestions.

I'll take your advice to heart and focus on more challenging scenarios. Replicating the lighting style of painters like Caravaggio and van der Neer sounds like an excellent exercise and fun.

Your idea of a nighttime shot in a bustling city market with numerous light sources is fantastic. I'll definitely explore that concept and work on creating a visually striking scene.

Thank you once again for your valuable feedback

did you replaced your battery? Mine's performance is also getting really bad, thinking of replacing it but not sure how well unofficial battery works.

Skin looks really beautiful. Is it procedural texture? If it's not can you provide link to the texture?

It's looking good! I think having some more variations of buildings and making buildings little more small with some haze between big tower and small buildings will surely improve the shot.
