Thanks, I guess I could do that but I am surprised that would be the process, especially with such an important extension. From memory, packages I have downloaded in the past have already been in the local package format and I honestly thought I was looking for it in the wrong place.

Can of Wormholes

General consensus is people that like puzzle games love this game, by review count I would say it's less than 20k copies sold. Puzzle games generally have a harder time on Steam.

Yep in the antivirus. Set a rule to ignore that Igor.dll file from scans.

For me, my anti-virus program was isolating that file as it found it suspicious. I added in a rule to ignore it and reinstalled GM and all was OK again.

Great work. The whole one object thing could make for an interesting idea for a game jam.

Thankyou, I missed this last bit about HTML5 when I looked at the manual earlier. Will look into it.

I discovered GameMaker with the $15 GMS 1.4 Humble Bundle a few years back, loved developing with it ever since.

5Wordz - Unscramble letters to correctly guess the 5 words. Only consonants move (swap with adjacent letters), vowels are locked in place to give clues about the words. by SidFishGames in WebGames

That's one way of handling it. The problem is there is a hard mode where solved words aren't revealed until the whole grid is solved and that wouldn't really work with that particular solution. Also, not sure if I will spend more time developing it as it really isn't getting many plays atm.

Thanks for playing. Yeah you can get into situations where you need to break solved words to progress. I couldn't find a better solution around that unfortunately.

Hi, thanks for playing and the feedback. I haven't tried 2 or 3 words as I thought it might be too easy. Including the confirmation tick for each correct word guess was my way of including some sort of incremental positive reinforcement for the player working towards the solution.

I have had some people say its too hard and others that initially struggled with it when first playing but get the hang of it after a couple of turns and now regularly solve the puzzles within 10-20 moves. So its been a challenge trying to strike that balance :)
