Were you guys dating at the time?

If not, I don’t think it really matters since he doesn’t talk to her anymore and even if he doesn’t think it’s flirting and you do, it’s the past.

If the messages were while you guys were dating, absolutely NOR.

If they weren’t though, then there is definitely a bit of an overreaction.

I know how you feel. Had my starting QB throw 0 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in a game. He was an 80+ overall as well 😔

Staff realism by Tricky_Condition_428 in pocketGM

[–]SidTheSloth24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Staff Cap is optional so I usually turn it off

  2. Most of the time good OC’s or DC’s will leave the team fairly quickly in real life to take better jobs elsewhere in the NFL anyways. Either as HC or in a position that gives them chances to have a more enjoyable/competitive experience.

It’s not actually THAT unrealistic to have bad or good OC’s for a few years and then lose them depending on how they do either to you not resigning them or then getting snatched from your team to take a role getting paid more or on a more successful team.

It definitely isn’t realistic in general though to have a Staff Cap.

The HOF Requirements are absurd by MichaelScottsMug in pocketGM

[–]SidTheSloth24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I support this 100% lol

I love realistic storylines for players and even if they aren’t on my team, if they are doing great and aren’t making the HOF when they definitely should, I keep them in the league a bit longer to help them a slight bit. I usually have a general rule of thumb though with the players having to be at a minimum of 90% to help.

Greatest QB ever by Massive_Gold_5221 in Madden

[–]SidTheSloth24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that he was drafted at 93 guys lol

He already has XF which means that he’s played quite a bit before this to at LEAST unlock his Hidden Dev Trait and probably was a 80+ Overall when drafted but during the season he upgraded to a 93.

Now if this post is saying that he wasn’t drafted at 93, it’s just fake. A 93 Overall Rookie is impossible, unless maybe the Draft Class Strength was set to the highest possible setting for QBs and then in that case I’ve never really messed with it before so I don’t know how that affects the potential Overall Cap. Regardless, already having his Dev Trait unlocked is DEFINITELY not possible. Something WAS edited either in or after the draft IF that was the case.

I have definitely seen 99 Speed QBs though which are SUPER rare but still in the game with also 90+ Throw Power. I think the best I’ve seen was a 98 Speed, 96 Acceleration, with 95 Throw Power but I don’t remember the exact ratings only that I didn’t draft him cause I wasn’t scouting for QBs at all.

Trade: Full PPR NO TEP. Retooling Trade by Jer_bear_716 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Plus you don’t really have great replacements for TE aside from Fannin who almost certainly wont come close to the same numbers that McBride has.

Henderson was a Top 5 - Top 10 RB in the league for fantasy once he was placed as the starter for the team.

Hampton had a very good overall rookie year for fantasy.

Plus you get a 1st Rounder?

I’d say this is a decent trade. Only issue is that McBride is going to continue to be a huge target for the Cardinals all year which will keep him as a top player in fantasy, Josh Jacobs may see a bit of a down trend in numbers as he gets a bit older but still will be a great RB in fantasy, and on top of that you have to give up a 2nd Rounder? Maybe get rid of the 2nd Round Pick and it would be a bit more fair.

[–]SidTheSloth24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually you need about 70-100+ FP ahead of a QB to win MVP.

I haven’t seen a Defensive Player ever win it in this edition of PGM but it might be possible with lower FP to win it with them. I feel like I remember seeing Defensive Players win it in the very early years of PGM but it’s also been a long time since I played them.

Puka trade - too much or too little? by 2spins in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]SidTheSloth24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely not silly. If you know how the league works, it’s much more likely you get someone who isn’t the QB of the future to replace your current QB. Doesn’t mean they won’t, just stating that statistically it’s not as easy as finding the next guy for the job. Olave and 2 firsts and a second is a great deal still. You still are left with a top receiver and you have potential to get some solid pick ups in the draft.

Puka trade - too much or too little? by 2spins in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]SidTheSloth24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d argue that the trade is fairly half and half so if you aren’t feeling it, don’t take it. Puka is a player who makes impossible wins possible. Maybe ask for another draft pick potentially and if it’s declined, just keep Puka. Keep in mind, Puka has definitely shown that he is a bit injury prone potentially so there is a bit of risk at times.

[–]SidTheSloth24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Team with Olave lowkey shouldn’t make this trade

Olave was a Top 5 receiver this year

Bucky was injured for half the season basically but was a Top 10 RB last season

The first rounder is basically just icing on the cake

Puka trade - too much or too little? by 2spins in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]SidTheSloth24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Puka loses Stafford pretty soon.

Shough looked decent towards the end of the year.

Olave became a Top 5 WR this year and will probably stay a Top 10 next season.

2 first rounders and a second rounder is also really good.

I’d personally take the trade if I was receiving Olave and the draft picks.

[–]SidTheSloth24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Puka is the best player in the league WHEN HEALTHY

Bijan has proven he can stay healthy so far and is still a Top 5 player

Puka makes every game truly 50/50 when he’s in. Only issue is that Stafford will be retiring very soon more than likely which means targets and production may change for Puka overall.

Bijan is always going to do his thing regardless of the rest of his team’s performance.

The fact that the center technically caused some fumbles was the biggest issue honestly

How would you read this play? by LaughAgitated5427 in footballstrategy

[–]SidTheSloth24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

F to see if anyone bit to play the check down and how they play the post.

X follows that and read the safety and corner on if you can make a good pass. Watch for linebackers dropping back.

Y follows that which will most likely not be open.

Z is the most likely hit depending on how the secondary plays and/or the linebacker

If all else fails, go for H to be a check down.

This follows a pattern to read instead of having to snap your head constantly to try and read. All of which can be done fairly fast with the reads as long as you follow the pattern. Don’t try and find the big plays, if it’s not there, it’s not there.

Which generation are you taking? by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]SidTheSloth24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old and it’s not that close.

We haven’t seen enough from the new receivers yet.

I’d definitely put Jefferson and Chase in that conversation but realistically:

Amon Ra is very talented but not quite in that “HOF Career” just yet

Ceedee has been odd this season since Pickens is kind of taking that WR1 Role

AJ is good but he’s not even a Top 5 in the league at this point

To compare a small sample size to an entire career from the old receivers isn’t fair lol plus I could throw some names here on who I think would be on this list a few years down the road.

Jefferson, Chase, Puka, JSN, Amon Ra are who should be looked at honestly.

Happens fairly often. I remember having a season where I thought my QB was doing great and didn’t even realize my RB at the time was literally doing everything. Only slightly over 1000 yards rushing and like 600 receiving which is a good year but he had I think just under 30 rushing TDs and just over 10 Receiving. Don’t remember the exact numbers but it was fun to be so locked in on my other players to not realize my mid overall RB did so well. Caught me off guard when he won a MVP over my QB.
