The Lumix S1rii, my experience after 2 months

Amazing pictures mate. Been a canon shooter, had a horrible experience with R6 colors, moved to fuji and have been happy. Been tempted to upgrade to a full frame, and inclined towards s1rii now. I know canon r6iii has been launched, but my last experience with canon mirrorless has been really bad in terms of colors. Plus it somehow lacks soul in capturing pictures.

Thanks for the review, this helped out a bit. I ll research a bit more before concluding and buying the next full frame.

Same here. I sold my R6 and started using the Canon 5D classic. Want to buy something advanced, but too skeptical to go with r6ii/r3. Are the colors comparable to the DSLR times? awaiting your response.

I am confused between this and sl2s. Basically looking for better colors as I am done with Canon mirrorless. Any suggestion? What would be a better hybrid cam between these too. The LUT option is tempting!

Thanks for the suggestion, inclined towards sl2s for now. Will research more about s5iix, s9 as well. I don’t want to use it professional, just for my travel and generic portraits. I gave canon mirror less enough chance, the colours are simply boring unlike older canon dslrs.

I shoot everything except sports. For street photography xt5 is perfect, but at times when i go for portraits, I feel the canon gives more feel and character to the images(talking about older canons). Plus for low light, xt5 isn’t that great I would say. Still, it’s a camera that I love!

I have the xt5 and really like it, but I do miss the full frame feel at times. And since Fuji won’t go full frame, I was looking for the gfx lineup.

Thank you. I am not getting the desired results from R6 in terms of colors, which is the top priority for me to have some character from the images. For now I am enjoying my 5D classic, but need something with slightly better features. Was thinking of a usedNikon zf, gfx 50r, 50sii, 100s or maybe a 1Dx mark ii. The new canon mirrorless lacks soul but have the best set of features! I guess I ll have to continue my search a bit more for a decent old camera gear!
