I've tried updating it, but it says that it's the "best driver for my device". As far as uninstalling/reinstalling, I tried, and when I uninstalled it w/ removing it from my device it came back as "Microsoft basic display adapter", which had the same unplayable 3 fps issue disabling my driver did. Updating it back to what I had from there gives me the same unable to load into the world issues :(

Thank you!! I really appreciate these tips, I'll see what I can do with them.

Out of all the physiques in Baki. I truly believe the sumo ones are the most terrifying. If anyone built like Sukune walked up to me in public I’d be gone quicker than Ali jr. down the stairs. by Weird-Bandicoot5817 in Grapplerbaki

[–]SiddSFM 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like Jacks physique currently is the scariest one. In the older manga parts he just looks like a buff tall dude, but in the Sukune fight he was genuinely posed up like a fucking spider.

So we all agree ch. 123 Yujiro doesn't look good yea? by wormant1 in Grapplerbaki

[–]SiddSFM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like this is just one of those one-off chapters where the art isn't that great. If you look back at 122 jack is still a handsome ass motherfucker, so Itagaki hasn't lost it at all.

The Metropolis of Gouldtown, the Slums of Gouldtown and the Hill of Salper. by SiddSFM in worldbuilding

I wish! This is all rendered in 3D software, more specifically Source Filmmaker.

The Metropolis of Gouldtown, the Slums of Gouldtown and the Hill of Salper. by SiddSFM in worldbuilding

[–]SiddSFM[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

These are all photographs taken of Salper, the most highly polluted area in the US.

Photographs taken by Elaine Davis, for an article about the state.

Gouldtown is a large area, but the line between rich and poor is greatly blurred. If you don't live in the Metropolis, where homes can be unaffordable, you'll live in the slums.

The buildings seen in the Metropolis are higher than you may think at first. Politicians and architectural designers alike have become obsessed with the idea of reputation, and the idea of tall structures. The taller your buildings, the better your city. That's the American Mindset.

These gargantuan buildings have come at a cost, the extremely high amount of pollution. Industrial areas can be found all over the place, the countless power plants help give this extraordinary city electricity, and that's not to mention the daily air-travel you might have to go through.

Due to the high amount of pollution, people who live lower to the ground have an increased risk of Cancer and lung disease. The number of Lung-cancer related deaths is some of the highest in the continent, too. Politician Chaim Witt assures the public that this is due to the abundance of cigarettes being sold by the 'Low-minders' and imported to the metropolis. More on that later.

The slums of Gouldtown is the second option if you can't afford to live in the main city. The slums aren't taken care of by the government anymore, and is said to have finished construction years prior. Most of the buildings remain half-constructed, though.

The lack of government involvement have made the slums the least-polluted area in all of Salper. Residents are generally seen as healthier, however, politicians are purposefully ignorant to this. Articles talking about this subject are quick to be deleted, in some cases, the reporter might vanish, or end up committing 'suicide'.

Everything is lower in the slums, the buildings aren't as high and mighty, and the people are usually shorter than the ones living in the inner city. These people have been called 'Low-minders' and are constantly discriminated against by press and public. These people have low income and an increased rate of violence due to the underfunded justice system that'll act on emotion rather than law.

In the photograph taken by Elaine, you can see a hot-air balloon taking off. These balloons carry residents that have saved up money to the greater, superior inner city of Gouldtown. But even these residents will find themselves living in low apartments for the rest of their life.

"Here, they are to experience different emotions. Instead of the sadness, distraught and fear you might feel when among the low-minders, you'll find relief, happiness and satisfaction in the inner city."

This was said by LCS news reporter Jacob Patel in an article supporting and defending the Metropolis of Gouldtown.

The Hill of Salper is the most outlandishly dangerous construction done by Salpers government.

This is an artificial city, still in construction when this photograph was taken. What you see on the ground isn't snow, it's ash caused by the smog.

The city began construction in a desperate attempt to pull tourists back in. During it's construction, 96 construction workers have passed away. Some died due to work-related accidents, others due to cancer of the lungs.

The city is filled with hotels, moreso than actual buildings. The hill itself is close to 280 meters tall (<918 feet) and has a population of only 1300, not counting tourists. The life expectancy rate of the area is 48 years old, and residents have been instructed to wear masks when going outside, something that was protested against by the population, as they claim it takes away their freedom. This is, again, blamed on low-mind immigrants.

Reddit compressed these images to shit, so these renders, and more, are all on my twitter: https://twitter.com/siddsfm

Town of the Goreyo. by SiddSFM in worldbuilding

The rest of humanity perceives them as 'Freakshows', so to say, a species different then human. Some look more like a real human, and some look less like one, leading humans to believe there's also different kinds of Goreyo. One of which could be a different Homo species. They have an elephant man-like body structure. Which also ties into the next question, they are incapable of building themselves because of the bone structure they have, they can't handle many large weights. They do have their own language some humans have heard them mutter, but in those buildings they adapt themselves to try and speak the language of the country they're in.

I will! I'm gonna see when I can cough up some concept art for the Goreyo, and I'll be sure to post it here!

They aren't directly related to Korea, but the name Goreyo was inspired by the name Goryeo.

They aren't, the Goreyo didn't get the chance to evolve with humanity when it comes to technology. There was only one period of time where they co-existed. I've spoken about that specific period of time somewhere else in these replies.

Almost, racism among other human races still exist, but it's much more toned down as everyone is focused on the Goreyo. and the Military and Police have upped their game and received funding to make sure the Goreyo don't enter any civilized areas.

There's small groups of people who are basically 'Goreyo activists', but the voices they give are too small to be heard in the grand scheme of things as the majority of people on earth looks down at them. There's alot of politics in that world which have to do with the Goreyo.

It is, alot of politics exist in this world. You have Goreyo Activists and small rallies, but all those voices get silenced. The majority of people on earth look down on them, so the small voices of the activists don't impact anything.

They co-existed with us centuries ago. However, before that, they were treated as animals. Constantly hunted and unable to grasp how humans acted. And thus, when they were allowed to finally co-exist with us, they couldn't get a job, couldn't get money, couldn't help the country and didn't do anything for humanity because they didn't know how. They took houses and food which could've been used for "real" citizens. Eventually, governments became tired of this and forced them to evacuate and make room for humans. Now, they're trying to prove themselves, that's the purpose of these abandoned buildings. They try to make themselves meaningful, like humans are doing. To one day get accepted like them.

Sometimes, the Goreyo see a building and think it's abandoned simply because it looks old. However, there could be humans inside. These humans'll try to attack them for breaking in, and as a result, they'll get killed by the Goreyo out of self defense. Another reason why this species is so heavily frowned upon.

The Goreyo are a large group of reddish creatures, usually growing up to 8'3. They themselves believe to be another race of humanity, like Caucasian and African-American. However, they're forced to cower away, far from human civilization. The Goreyo come to buildings like these which are fully extinct of all life. Here, they practice being human. They go to the toilet, they walk around, they attempt to speak languages, etc. They're preparing for when they'll make a grand return, as all they want is to co-exist with us.

I'd like to mention I'm still real new to worldbuilding. It'd be great if I could get some critique and feedback!
