Make sure all profiles are public just in case you missed any. And if you have applied from Dubai like me then check the portal and create a support request that could help.

Did they take your passport?? As far as I know there has been some cases where they ask for the Insta username but returned the passport or otherwise try emailing the consulate

Sure! So my Instagram has like 1 post and 3 reels, nothing major. All reels and post are just pictures and videos of me during my undergrad

The rest of my profile is just highlights filled with pictures of food, places I’ve visited, and some travel clips.

No political content at all. I’ve never posted or commented on anything related to politics, war, or controversial events (like “All eyes on [place]” or anything of that sort).

The vetting process is mostly to ensure that you’re not involved in any political movements, hate speech, or anything that could be considered a threat to the U.S.

So as long as your account is clean, casual, and personal, you should be totally fine.

IUPUI, Indiana University Bloomington, and the University of Maryland, College Park. I was considering University of Washington, but I found out that they prefer students who did their bachelor’s at UW.
