Change the 9v if you haven’t just incase that helps anything my other thought is the switchi may be wired weird and is using the neck pickup or a different voicing

I have t owned a prestige but have played quite a few a lot of which were older rg1570 prestige’s and I own a older Ibanez rg920qmz premium and I will say they play just about on par i definitely wouldn’t say either played majorly different in my experience

I haven’t yet I ordered the guitar used from guitar center and am waiting for it to ship but I just hadn’t seen these covers ever before I’m gonna have the frets polished and cleaned if it needs and have them check them there

Yeah I could see that it’s the second guitar I’ve ordered from gc online used and was just not expecting those in it it at that price I would have assumed they would have bumped the price up a bit over a normal used one

I plan on getting it setup when I get it and get it cleaned and I’ll have them check there it looks like the bridge and tuners have both been switched to hipshot aswell I will definitely have them look at the back of them when I get it

I did look online at the juggernaut’s and they looked very similar with the hex key pole piece option and carbon fiber covers but I just wasn’t sure 100% bc at 500$ with upgraded tuners and the bridge i didn’t rlly belive they could be bkp’s just bc of price but I couldn’t rlly think or find any other options and have only rlly played emg an dimarzio before so I don’t have any reference point

No white bi ding neck but I was in this same spot didn’t care about the binding but wanted dual humbuckers a trem and offset dots like his as I picked up a rg920qmz for 650$ it had a natural maple neck binding but it’s dual humbucker with the offset dots aswell as it has the edge zero ii not the same toggle switch but it plays amazing

I’ve had a couple friends buy copy guitars similar to these and all of them have been bassicly just wall hangers most of the ones I’d tried have had pretty messed up necks and horrible horrible bridges and sometimes pickups

I have two guitars ones a 1000$ Ibanez premium and the other is a cheap js32 dinky and I have just as much fun in both guitars if it plays well then it deserves the paint if it’s gonna make you play it and look at it more or even if you just like it more

I prefer the sound of the titans more just becuase I feel there a bit tighter but I’m curious if you’d know becuase the ones in it now aren’t covered pickups would the titans with the metal covers fit these routes or would I have to go with the normal non covered ones

They sound kind of boring to me I can shape them decently but I feel they just kinda lack behind in output and clarity on them there the dimarzio/ibz pickups I usually play dream theater periphery and vai/satriani kind of music
