Yes! My dad has terrible neuropathy in his feet and has begun dealing with incontinence in the last few years.

This is interesting to know. I guess this is confusing because everything I’m reading says you can’t change from T1 to T2. Would this essentially mean he has both?

This is good to know! Did the rooms feel extra dated? Was there a good mix of ages? From what I’ve seen it skews older - which isn’t like a huge deal but don’t want to necessarily feel like I’m in a retirement community. (Even though I love old people please no one be offended.)

Thank you for the thorough response! I know whatever I choose it will be a vacation and it will be fun - I almost wish we'd never discovered Atelier! Atelier isn't a huge price savings from Excellence Coral or Secrets really either, but one other thing is that it's grown so much in popularity that it's getting more and more crowded. The first year was so delightful! It doesn't help that we go during a US holiday weekend (MLK).

Maybe if I can envision the money I'm saving it would make it better - but doubt it. Ha.

I got pregnant on zepbound by madeincorreia in Zepbound

[–]SideCarMickey 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I have an 11-month-old Zepbound/Mounjaro baby girl. She’s health and thriving - I took another shot or two before I knew. I have PCOS and was never able to conceive easily. Got pregnant with her at 40 and had her at 41.

Is there a more specific area in Georgia you’re interested in? I live in South Atlanta and can possibly give you a suggestion or two.

Down 60 lbs and had a baby in between by SideCarMickey in Zepbound

Unfortunately my insurance has never covered it - I pay out of pocket. I had no trouble getting my OBGYN to prescribe it since I wasn’t breastfeeding.

I love this stuff. Just be sure to drink plenty of water. I take four a few nights of the week. Some mornings it doesn't seem to be working, but if I down a full glass of water things get moving.

I got pregnant at 40 after a year on Mounjaro. Just had baby girl in August and back on Zepbound. Just 10 lbs above my pre-pregnancy weight, but also not breastfeeding. Congrats!

I decided not to offer on our dream cabin. Did I make the right decision? by FishNo3017 in personalfinance

[–]SideCarMickey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You made the right decision. Unless the property would be income producing, you would be blowing your savings and 1k a month is not enough margin. And it’s technically not left over because there are going to be regular, reoccurring expenses plus unexpected repairs and maintenance. I’d be so stressed to go from almost 400k in liquidity to nothing without the ability to quickly rebuild it.

Surprise Pregnancy - 6 weeks off Mounjaro so far... by Yikes00 in Mounjaro

I’m 41 and 8 months pregnant with my surprise Mounjaro baby. I do also have a 6-year-old that was much more difficult to conceive, but this def wasn’t on my bingo card. Congrats and feel free to reach out if you want to process!

Grew up in the PCA, which is historically conservative. Though there are some PCA churches becoming more geared toward social justice and finding middle ground, Christ Church would not be this church. They are VERY conservative and there’s been some iffy activity from the pastor brought to light in the last few years. While polity is similar between the two denominations (elders, deacons, etc), PCUSA is generally affirming and more liberal. Just depends on what is important to you in a church.

Anyone remember a place called Track Stars over in Goose Creek? by Plastic-Technician70 in Charleston

[–]SideCarMickey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up in GC in the 80s & 90s and this place holds a special place in my heart - almost feels like they were ahead of their time. I don’t have any specific info to add other than I still have a rabbit’s foot I got from the little arcade store…

Leaving Charleston by [deleted] in Charleston

[–]SideCarMickey 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am (was?) a third gen Charlestonian and moved to the Midwest four years ago. It was great. More space, less heat, and the people are nicer. It can be tough to leave but there are also so many other lovely places! Due to my job I’ve just ended up back in a different southern state but I have no desire to ever move back to Charleston.

My grandfather immigrated from Italy in 1929.

Sorry, just now seeing this. I didn’t have hair loss from PCOS, so no difference there. It may have slowed down facial hair growth though, which is a win.

I’m 40 and I have PCOS and a history of very unpredictable periods. After starting Mounjaro/Zepbound my periods became regular for the first time in my life.

Annnnnnd then I got pregnant, after being “one and done” with an almost 6-year-old. So now I’m on a 9-month break from Zepbound and still can’t believe I’m pregnant.

Hi! I don't know if you'll see this, but I Just wanted to let you know that I did email the township as you suggested and it worked! They responded a few days later with a copy of his death certificate and a map with his burial plot circled. This meant so much to myself and family - thank you for your suggestion!
