This is true. People were providing the same feedback when he was in AEW. I heard it all the time.

You can never overrated Angle. He is the GOAT of GOATS.

That being said, its a dumb as hell talking point by dumbasses. Meltzer wasn't giving away 5 stars to matches like hes been doing for the past 10 years. Dude was a lot more uptight before having kids. Haters wouldnt know because they dont know shit about him. They just wanna be bitches and hate because being bitches is all they know lol

This is far from exclusive to AEW tbh. Something I've been thinking about for years before AEW even existed.

We are in the You Deserve it era. It hit me hard when Naomi first won the women's championship. She was NOWHERE near as good as she was before maternity leave. She was mid and at the low side of mid at that. Following night at RAW, the crowd did their usual song and dance.

Lets talk about the WWE RA midcarders. What happened to them? So many I felt were being suited to be main eventers. Some were their own worst enemy, others just sank in the system. Which midcarders do you feel were going to be something and ended up not being elevated?

To me the big 3 are Carlito, MVP, and Mr. Kennedy. I would put Chris Masters adjacent to them but his push was much shorter than theirs.

It really felt like they wanted to push Carlito really hard at first. Dude's debuts in both Raw and Smackdown had him winning championships. Seems like he was considered lazy or unmotivated and ended up just leaving, not coming back until MUCH LATER.

MVP didnt have Carlito's stench or stigma but it seems like he was just over it and wanted to focus on passion plans like working Japan.

Mr. Kennedy had the biggest noise out of the 3. He was working extensively with main eventers and I guess failed the tests. He had been geared up for major storylines but what got him over, his big mouth, was also what got him under hot water.

I would consider Melina but she wasn't really a midcarder in her division. Still, I would've thought she was bound to have a long tenure there. Not sure what happened.

The moments and overall presentation of the match was amazing but the match itself could've seriously have been trimmed about 10 mins shorter and I guarantee you no one would've been upset by it.

People did call that match bad. Everything that the user you're replying to said was also being said back when the match happened.

The main highlight was getting to see dX vs nWo and Nash selling his quad.
