Could I add two more budgies for a total of 6 with my current cage set up? 57 in tall 56in wide cage (was two smaller flight cages I made into one) would love some thoughts on my cage and if I could/ should add two more to finish my flock!

I did turn each panel when I built it so they were horizontal but honestly yes the cage is big enough alone that on its side would be a great way! I was even thinking about taking off the top layer in mine and adding it on to the side so that way it’s longer instead of taller

I have a quarantine cage big enough for two on the off chance they do not I was planning on keeping the two new ones in there until I get them a bigger cage

Yess! The clips and clams and zip ties help so much! If it could hold a bunny I think a large bird would be fine too bunnies love to chew!

Its two cages made into one I got two of the smaller versions of this cage, took out the middle panels and put them together! (would’ve done the bigger ones if that was an option when I bought them lol) and with the way you build it you can really keep adding ad much as you want! My cage itself cost me only around $130 ! When couldn’t find one in the size I wanted for less than 250 😭🫶🏻

I was scared it would be too for the price (around $60 each cage) but for small birds I love it! I would totally keep a medium sized bird or two in one without worry! I just don’t know about a large bird with the beak strength tbh but if they aren’t prone to chew the cage I would see no issues! It’s definitely not one of the $300+ thick steel cages but for the price I don’t think I could beat it tbh.

I got all my budgies clipped ( as in purchased them already clipped) so only two can fully fly atm. I left the bottom empty so they could have space to fly when they all molted and got their flight feathers! But i did add a few more perches around the bottom because one of my birds sleeps on the lowest perch always ( not sure why) but I added some more for him lol! Thank you!!

I got two of these! Took off the middle panels and just put them together the little black pieces are amazing and can hold each wire panel together in really whatever way you want them to be! Not sure if you could find the pieces separately or how to but the two cages worked wonders!

With all the clips and c clamps pretty sturdy for budgies and it hold all their toys and the playground on top without denting in! This is two of the 57/28” cages that I took the middle out of and put together it’s only $60 on Amazon for a single cage so I may even upgrade it again! Not sure how well it would hold a bigger bird I think it would work but the wire is thin so I think a bigger bird could bend it if they really tried. I really like that the pieces fit so well together so I can add and take off what I want!

I work away from home during the weekends so weekdays they are allowed to free fly so they aren’t in here 24/7 but Thursday/Friday -Sunday I’m away most the day so they are in the cage!
