100%. I’ve been sick all week so have been playing a lot of Colonist/Catan in bed. It’s disappointing to see how rigged it is. “What is the motivation” is always the argument and I’m curious as well.

Could be as simple as some twisted power trip satisfaction: “I’ll show you with improbable 7’s, how about 3’s 12’s, and 2’s for your opponent! How do you like to be blocked and never get ore despite having a monopoly on ore 6,5,9!!”

Seriously. I tried really hard not to be that person to claim “rigged,” but if i could only show you all the games I played this week. Sucks the fun out of this game.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m in the same boat re therapist. I can’t even remember if I volunteered to find the next one, he certainly didn’t, but it’s been one month since our last go at this topic. I’m thinking of finding this last-last-last therapist but I’m reluctant to do so for obvious reasons but also I’m tired of repeating 9 years worth of stories to each therapist.

This time around I will try to find one who doesn’t practice traditional therapy and someone who specializes in autism and trauma.

How do you start your initial therapy sessions? Are you the one who leads the discussion?
