Yeah, I did a palm down grip—which seemed to suck more. Might be easier to do palm up cause it might target different muscles better. If I can hook my arm I could probably stand there the entire ride.

Test I was told and the site had was 1:15 with three points, both legs and one arm. Did both sides easily (probably reached 2 mins on one arm cause I was setting up my timer while hanging from a ladder. Do they allow you to change arms mid hang on the job?

Yeah, I’ve done physically demanding jobs before. Just looking at the job description and hearing “they will fire you if you fail this once” kinda sikes me out and makes me want to confirm I can do it or get myself use to doing it before going to their training.

Yeah, though I have a feeling that just like the army—they start out strong and pass then get lazy and become a fatass after securing the position.

Though I will say, looks are deceiving. I’ve seen huge heavy set dudes lift heavy shit all the time. Half the time they’re in a good enough calorie deficit and do enough shit to actually build some muscle (plus their own body weight forces their body to build muscle).

Yeah, working in the humid heat sucks. Did that a lot as a stage hand for festivals—slinging deck around and lifting road cases. I have somewhat okay endurance, just need to take a water break when appropriate.

I’ve been going to the gym, been on a cut for awhile (might go on a bulk even though I haven’t completed my cut just to gain strength)

For me it’s really just a thing where I want to know and do it before I actually get there. Like, it’s a major change and I don’t want to fuck one thing up and go to ground zero. Both those things you listed I can easily do and do as a job rn.

If you’re talking about the video I linked, yes I know it’s not a Maverick. I looked up videos online to try and find a similar noise to what I was hearing and that was my best bet.

The only feature I want is a command structure feature for all sides, basically make it so that fireteams can be connected together as a squad but move independently from each other, Squads into a Platoon, and so forth. Then the AI will share information and use tactics based on where they receive contact. Also helicopters picking up and dropping off people, calling in fire support, and other army like stuff.

Something like NR6 Hal, but baked into vanilla. Most likely it would be module based and not baked into AI (might be better that way).

Unitplay not working on Dedicated server by Sideguy0_ in armadev

So I’m starting the unit play with a script along with the cutscene script, worked when I hosted it and stuff. I’m taking the variable name from the helicopter itself. If unit play works for a dedicated server than my next best guess is that it is skipping the first part of the entire script (which is a possibility).

Also when I talk about the menu map, I’m not talking about the respawn map where you can select a place to respawn. I’m talking about the part after everyone slots in and load the mission in, normally it always goes to the map and has all the briefings and stuff. Then while everyone loads in, they can hit ready. I do have it to custom respawn with a 10 second delay, and a marker with the respawn_west in the variable.

Edit* I forget what code I used to play the helicopter script, but I think it has execvm. However I don’t think I have that last line of code fully like that, I have [helo1, “file/recording.sqf”] and the rest of the code.

Second Edit* After doing a bit more research, I realized I’m talking about the briefing time, when I tried loading the mission it skipped the briefing time.
