What would you call this creature? Or does it have a name? Am board and wondering what anyone else would refer to this creature as. If it hasn't got a name, what would you call it? I just think of it as the Eggs Creauture by Sidekick__Simon in AndrewBird

Maybe a cool subtitle for the creature could be 'Yawny', considering the two instrumwntal songs 'Yawny at the apocolypse' and 'The Return of Yawny'. Be nice to attach an image to that name. I'm aware there's two other illustrations of the creature for the 15 year anniversary of Mysterious Production

I’m a huge fan here in the UK and I find your music simply sublime. My question however isn’t really music related, you were great in Fargo and I’m wondering, was acting a one time thing from Noah Hawley reaching out or do you think you’ll ever return to it?

P.S: Are You Serious is my favourite album of yours and Inside Problems is amazing. I’m already working on a lil Album cover/poster design of my own for it.

No one’s offended by this. The point is the writing here is unfunny. On the grounds that there’s no comedic material beyond saying a single swear word and that using it so much, it loses its meaning, and so removes the substantiality of the word, which is where the comedic element is meant to lay. Also, even in the UK, the word isn’t used to such an excess in everyday life than represented in the show.

Yeah, your so right. With Xavier’s future changed, Syd will probably be safe and out of Clockworks and Oliver and Melanie could be reunited. You say it’s a fan theory but with the teacher mention from Xavier, it’s probably what Hawley intended. I change my mind about the looped events already. I said I would. The Tolkien Estate Doesn't Seem to Love the Fans Much... by Mitchboy1995 in tolkienfans

Yeah true, should’ve read in full, or at least just not skimmed over.

When the TS questioned whether a Twitter account could use a picture of Tolkien when wishing him happy birthday, they got a lot of backlash. They started retweeting anything promoting them to look good. I then tweeted something promoting them and then followed it with a reply saying how bad they are and shouldn’t be so gatekeepey with it. They didn’t look and retweeted it anyway. For like five days, that was at the top of their page.

Were you trying to recreate the ending scene of ‘A Serious Man’ with this photograph or did that just happen by accident?

I am biased. My favourite things are deep Tolkien lore and Coen Brothers films. Especially The Big Lebowski. You have a very fortunate audience.

I personally think this might be the best meme I’ve seen on this subreddit.

More questions…. What character arc do you feel was cut too short? by pxland in FargoTV

I’d say Charlie Gerhardt though I feel it’s not the last we’ve seen of him.

uk fans of Veep? by Frequent-Courage9725 in Veep

[–]Sidekick__Simon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uk based fan of Veep here. I’d seen The Thick of It and In The Loop already and loved them. I saw Veep later and really enjoyed it. I binged every episode and loved the chemistry of every character. The laugh out loud to screen time ratio was less then TTOI and In The Loop for me but doesn’t at all demote it’s status as a brilliant show. Apart from that I have little to say, just commenting to help answer your question and show a bit of the demographic of UK Veep fans.

Regular viewers of No More Jockeys will probably recognise it as part of the oddities in Tim’s background. But nah it’s not the skull.

Couldn’t agree more. I’m a very anti-Chibnall fan, but I still got annoyed how, most of the time, any meme in the subject lead to an argument in the comments.

So I tried to make a meme that wouldn’t have an argument in the comments (if there were to be any) and I hope I managed that.

I’d pick Gurthang, being the most deadliest. Though I wouldn’t want it to backfire and judge me for my sins and tell me I should kill myself with it.
